Real minium, with lead (which is "dangerous"). Very long-lasting protection (paint should always be applied over any minium). For repainting (locally), the area must be sanded very well, the paint flakes removed so that the rust-free iron is exposed (the neighboring paint that has truly strong adhesion should remain) and then the minium applied.

The product is excellent, and I speak as a user for over a decade now... I have painted walls in difficult environments and it still looks like yesterday. HOWEVER, it requires careful use... The content is VERY thick, like honey or butter. You remove it with a spatula, into a container with old paint, add solvent, and mix at low speeds. To avoid making a mess, I made a hole in the lid of the container, first passed the mixer through it, and then used a drill. I highly recommend it for "virgin" iron, as we get it from the factory, wipe off the oil with Nitro solvent, and apply. It works well with a roller or brush. I do not recommend it for touch-ups and refreshing. It is amazing for initial coating.
