Durostick Metal Primer is an alkyd-based primer containing anti-corrosion additives to protect metal surfaces from oxidation. It is applied as a rust-inhibiting undercoat to suitably prepared metal surfaces, such as railings, doors and other metal structures. It is easy to apply, offers strong adhesion and high coverage, dries quickly and is easy to sand.
It can also be applied to walls and ceilings with nicotine, soot or moisture stains, as well as ceilings coated with adhesive or limewash, to seal stains, patches and yellowing before the final coat of paint. Apply with a roller, brush or spray gun, and stir thoroughly before use. Clean tools immediately after use with THINNER 101 or white spirit. Apply in a well-ventilated area and keep away from children and heat sources.
