White primer for special applications based on acrylic resins with low VOC content, for interior and exterior use. It has excellent adhesion and penetration on new surfaces made of plaster, cement, patina, and strengthens old surfaces with glue, lime, gypsum, flaked paints, etc. Ideal for priming already painted worn and problematic surfaces. It offers very good coverage compared to transparent DUR primers, thus saving the final paint quantity.

Dries quickly and can be repainted with water-soluble plastic and acrylic paints.

• Thinning: Up to 20% by volume with SMAL TOLUX WHITE SPIRIT thinner.
• Painting tools: brush, roller.
• Coverage: 8-10 m²/l per coat depending on the surface.
• Drying: Touch dry in 1-2 hours. Recoatable after 3-5 hours.
• VOC Category: "Binding Primers". Type D. VOC limit value=750gr/l. Maximum VOC content of ready-to-use product= 550 gr/l.
• Shades: White.
• Application Conditions: Temperature 5-30°C and relative humidity below 80%.

New surfaces should dry for 3-4 weeks before priming.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Surface preparation: Thoroughly clean surfaces from dust, oils, old paints, loose fragments, mold residues, etc. Lightly sand.
• Application: Stir well before use. Apply SMALTOX mono in 1-2 coats.
• Tool cleaning: Keep tools "wet" in the container or tray during painting. Drain excess paint back into the can and clean immediately with warm water and soap.
• Storage conditions: After use, tightly close the container. Store in a cool place. Protect from frost and exposure to the sun.

• Naphtha (petroleum), heavy hydrodesulfurized. Harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
• Flammable liquid and vapour. May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
• Prolonged exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Causes organ damage after prolonged or repeated exposure.
• If medical advice is needed, have the container or label at hand.
• Keep out of reach of children. Keep locked up.
• Read the label before use. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. No smoking.
• Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting equipment.
• Do not breathe dust/fumes/gas/mist/vapours/spray.
• IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water / shower.
• Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local/national/international regulations.
