The white, matte acrylic primer Vitex Vitosin isolates and covers stains caused by soot, smoke, nicotine, mold and exhaust fumes, preventing them from reappearing. It is suitable for walls, concrete, plaster and wood, and can also be used to seal lime- or glue-washed surfaces. It can be applied as a primer for water-based paints or as a topcoat on ceilings.
Its formula is based on thermoplastic acrylic resins. It covers 8–10 m²/L in one coat and 4–5 m²/L in two coats, and is resistant to water vapor and mold. Apply with a roller, brush or spray gun at a temperature of 5–35°C and relative humidity below 80%. It is touch-dry in 1–2 hours, and the topcoat can be applied after 4–6 hours.
