Mercola Isomix Beton Primer is a quartz primer that acts as a bonding bridge on smooth, low-absorbency surfaces before plaster or other mortars are applied. It is a blend of specialty acrylic resins and graded quartz sand that strengthens the substrate and resists alkaline environments. It is suitable for exposed concrete, cement boards, EPS and XPS polystyrene boards, concrete, and existing ceramic tiles before new tiles are bonded.
The primer is ready to use and does not require dilution. Stir thoroughly before application. Surfaces must be dry and free of dust, oils, and loose material. For ceramic tiles, a suitability test is recommended due to variations in their quality and texture.
