KRAFT HAFT primer is 100% acrylic and water-based, suitable for interior and exterior use. It can be applied to walls, plaster and cement boards, on new, properly prepared surfaces or on painted surfaces with a sound base. It reduces absorbency, improves the adhesion of the topcoat and stabilizes friable substrates.
The surface must be dry, sound and free of dust, residue and loose old paint. New plaster or cement surfaces must be allowed to dry completely for at least 30 days before application. Before use, dilute the primer by 300–400% by volume with water and stir well. Apply one coat with a brush, roller or airless spray gun. The minimum time before recoating is 4–6 hours.
