Berling All Purpose Primer is a water-based adhesion primer for preparing wood, masonry and other difficult surfaces before applying the final coat of paint. It provides rust protection and can be top-coated with water-based or White Spirit alkyd paints.
Apply with a brush or roller in one or two coats, thinning with 8–10% water by volume. Apply the second coat of primer after 6 hours and the topcoat after 24 hours. The surface must be dry and free of oils, grease and loose material. Previously painted surfaces should be sanded and cleaned before application.
