The multi-generational family experience in olive oil soaps began in 1955 in a mountainous village of Crete (Malles Ierapetra). Adhering faithfully to the traditional method of production, LATO soaps are of exceptional quality and do not contain chemical preservatives or colorants.
The recipe is the same as the well-known traditional recipe of the grandparents in the villages of Crete, where they collected the residue of olive oil "mourga" and made it into soap, which they used as the primary means of cleaning for all kinds of washing.
