This new book on Organic Chemistry is a product of experience and contemplation from long-term university teaching of the relevant subject, at various levels.

Except for the students of the chemistry and pharmaceutical departments, everyone else studying Organic Chemistry had to assimilate a substantial volume of teaching material, where the emphasis was on the preparations and properties of organic compounds, whether classes or specific representatives.

Many of these, known since the 19th century, were already outdated due to advancements that had occurred, while others were specialized, lacking broader interest. Moreover, recent achievements could not be incorporated alongside the traditional material, which usually lacked sufficient justification.

Furthermore, there were several types of historically significant compounds, alongside discussions of industrial and biochemical implications. The result was a reluctance on the part of students to approach the subject with genuine interest.
