Description

The Lodge cast iron skillet with a diameter of 30.5 cm and Pyrex lid is ideal for everyday use on the stovetop, in the oven, or on the BBQ. Its size allows you to cook everything – from frying and sautéing to simmering.

The ability to start cooking on the stovetop and continue in the oven makes the cookware extremely practical.

The Pyrex lid helps with even cooking, retaining moisture and flavors in the food as steam condenses and returns to the dish. The skillet is preseasoned with vegetable oil, creating a non-stick patina that makes cooking easier.

Features:

  • Product Features
  • Diameter: 30.5 cm
  • Ideal for 2-3 servings of food or 6 eggs
  • Suitable for stovetop, oven, BBQ, gas, or open fire
  • Preseasoned for a natural non-stick patina
  • Healthy cooking, without artificial chemical compounds
  • Maintains food temperature stable
  • Made in USA
  • Note: The bottom may have aesthetic imperfections from casting or seasoning, which do not affect functionality or durability

Review this product
  • I just don't need another utensil. All in one. Burgers on one side, eggs or anything else on the other. What I was missing all these years. For the first 10 days it needs a bit more care for the seasoning and after that everything is easy.

I have had it for a month now and I use it with an induction cooker. Its size requires a suitable induction cooker that has the ability to connect two eyes into one.
The positives: It does not require pre-processing before first use like other cast iron pans. Meat/fish does not stick as long as the pan is preheated. It is easy to clean. Its weight is moderate.
I believe the negatives have to do with all cast iron pans. Below I describe what I encountered with this pan: When cooking is finished, I have to remove it from the induction cooker eye because it stains the glass surface. It cleans easily with water and a brush and must be dried immediately with a disposable paper towel and not a kitchen towel because it will blacken it. When it is dry, it needs to be oiled, otherwise it will rust in less than 24 hours.
