Very strong story even in 2025. The graphics are average for the time but you compromise with the whole story!

Nice little game, but for 2023 it seems very outdated in terms of missions, story duration, and gameplay. The graphics are a plus. Overall, it's not worth more than 10€

Very decent remake, I don't understand what some people were expecting in terms of graphics, especially for the price. Not all games need next-gen graphics to be beautiful, personally I find them very realistic, especially the faces, and the cutscenes are fantastic with amazing storytelling and direction, like watching a movie. The art and aesthetics of the game are exactly what the game needed to set the mood. I didn't encounter any glitches on the PS5.
The gameplay is enjoyable even though it is simplified, and it has good level design in the missions. Each one has a small story to tell with action to offer.
The only thing that bothered me is the difficulty, as others have mentioned, you die very easily and there aren't health boxes often.

Not having played the old one, I can say that it was a fairly mediocre experience. Mediocre graphics (I understand that it was a remake, but still, I can't say it was anything impressive), many bugs, and frequent fps drops while driving. Finally, I have to say that the game is excessively small (despite having a nice story) and the free mode is indifferent. Excellent music nonetheless. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's probably more for nostalgic fans of the old one. Personally, it was mediocre for me.

It is good overall, its graphics are not amazing but not terrible either (if you haven't played the old one, you can't appreciate them properly), the buildings and the environment are very nice, the lack of healing is annoying as you have to find something on the map. The story is its strong point, the combat is mediocre, and it also has several glitches. Overall, it is good but not perfect, worth a try.

It is not intended for GTA players, I would say. The story is amazing, the sounds are perfect, and the gameplay is great. But in the shooting part, you have to be a little more careful because your character dies easily and you run and can't heal. (Now, if our GTA player is not convinced, let them try to shoot a passerby.)

The sound, graphics, and gameplay are simply perfect. The story mode is average, but it's worth the money and even more if you like games with mafias and games that resemble GTA. It's the ideal game

For the capabilities of the console, it has average graphics, and that is the only negative. In the rest, I really liked the sound and the plot, but what caught my attention was the incredibly realistic gameplay. From the beginning, I played it in classic mode, which is incredibly difficult, but we're talking about battles taken straight from reality. Truly very authentic, with enemies that are always in cover and change positions very cleverly, perhaps the best I have played in this field.

Everything is fantastic, I can say even though I'm not an expert. The only thing that bothered me is that I expected the story to be longer, having previously played Mafia 3.

Personally, I liked it from the moment I first played it in 2002 on PC. I just discovered it on the PS and gave it a try! It's a very nice game with an amazing story

Fanatic in mafia 2 on ps3 then now on ps4 changed my mind, the 1 is worth every penny, I wish I had bought it earlier. Tremendous job, incredible story and for car enthusiasts like me, it also has manual driving, so you can shift gears, pioneering for such a game. If you like this era and the atmosphere, LA NOIR is also amazing

One of the best games I have ever played, incredible graphics, interesting plot, full of action, and runs at 60 fps on the PS5, simply wonderful. The story has several twists and lasts about 9 hours, and after the story, there is also a mode called free ride where you can roam around Lost Heaven and search for collectibles

The remaster has done an incredible job, both in terms of graphics and gameplay, and it is definitely the best of the trilogy. The atmosphere of the game is what caught my interest and made me want to play it again, even after playing the original. And of course, I have to say that at the price it is currently available (20-25 euros), it is truly a must-have

Those who loved it once will really enjoy it. Those who haven't played the old one, it's worth a chance and they won't lose. It has a nice story and a very nice atmosphere as it takes place during the prohibition era. For me, it is the best of the trilogy.

Well, the game is flawless, the story mode is incredible and the graphics are perfect. As for the multiplayer, I haven't played it and I don't know if it exists because I haven't noticed it, but it really is worth the money!

I finished it a few days ago. I played it on the PS5 and I will briefly tell you about my experience. I had played the original game on a computer when it was first released in 2002 and I remembered it as a gem of its time. In the remake, they have done a very good job, faithfully transferring the experience from the old game with all its positives and negatives. For example, the animations do not match today's standards, and the graphics are purely from the PS4 & Xbox One generation. They have made nice additions, such as the motorcycle. Overall, in my opinion, it is a good title and worth more than €25. Especially for those who had experienced it in its time. Remake done right! Beautifully. Exceptional graphics and gameplay, story-based. You follow the story with the option to skip certain driving parts. One of the very good stories in a game. I highly recommend it to both old fans and new ones. Very nice gameplay in an awesome story

The best gangster story with the incredible protagonist Tommy Angelo! For mafia lovers, and fans of that era, I will say only one thing, get it blindly...
(Hopefully the fourth one will be as good as the first)

P.S.: Unfortunately, after finishing the story and the collection, I started doing the secret missions and when I finished the "waybar mission," the game crashed... Without further ado, I lost my save and it's over! I learned that others have experienced the same issue. To save some of you the trouble, just skip this mission.. Such a shame after all the effort!
