I tried it purely for use with Home Assistant. Generally, Shelly as a company has a good reputation for designing compatible products, and this is no exception.

As for the setup, it is very simple. You connect to the access point created by the device, access the web interface through a web browser, and provide it with your WiFi credentials. Then, do the same process again, but this time with your own WiFi, and update the firmware.

Beautiful compact smart socket, fits well with others. Its application is satisfactory and installation is easy. I bought it because it is fully supported and officially by Home Assistant and other free solutions for Smart Home. But even without them, you can see consumption statistics perfectly and instantly, as well as daily/weekly. I will definitely buy more.
