In Ticket to Ride: Amsterdam, you will encounter the classic gameplay of the popular train game series, but on a map of the 17th century Dutch capital, which can be completed in 15 minutes!
Players will find themselves in the Golden Age of the Netherlands, where the pulse of trade beats in Amsterdam, one of the richest cities in Europe. Goods from all over the world constantly arrive by ship and the warehouses are filled. It is certain that you will try to take advantage of this!
Each player will start with a stock of 16 train cars, two transportation cards, and one or two tickets, which show two different routes. On your turn, you will either draw cards or play them to build the routes of the tickets by matching them with the colors, while you can also acquire new tickets.
Every time you complete a route, you earn a bonus cargo card. The game ends as soon as a player has two or fewer train cars, and the one with the most points is declared the winner!
