The Camwon XVR-XJ1108TN recorder supports eight channels and 5-in-1 penta-hybrid technology for AHD, TVI, CVI, CVBS and IP cameras. The inputs can be used with different combinations of analogue and IP cameras, with compatibility between pairs of inputs when connecting cameras of different types. Video is compressed using H.264.

It supports video output via VGA and HDMI, as well as viewing 1, 4 or 8 channels during live streaming and playback. It features a SATA slot for one 3.5" hard drive with a capacity of up to 6 TB; the drive is not included. It also has two USB ports.
