The SSD is simply amazing!! I have the MacBook Air M1 chip and with the USB-C to USB-C cable that comes in the package, I reach speeds of 700mb/s write and 800 to 900 mb/s read!! Okay, obviously it doesn't have the prices it claims above, meaning 1000 write, 1100 read, but still it's incredibly fast! Anyone who does video rendering entirely from the SSD will obviously see something more expensive and better, but for image editing and everyday use, it's the best thing out there! The T7 doesn't heat up at all even after hours on the laptop! In other news, it only has a small light that flashes when transferring files! And for those wondering, it also comes with a USB 3.2 to USB-C cable in the package, so don't worry about having to buy another cable! Get it!!
Ο ssd απλά πετάει!! Έχω το MacBook Air M1 chip και με το usb-c σε usb-c που έχει ΜΕΣΑ η συσκευασία φτάνω τα 700mb/s write και 800 με 900 mb/s read!! Εντάξει προφανώς και δεν έχει τις τιμές που λέει πάνω δηλαδή τα 1000 write, 1100 read, αλλά και πάλι είναι τρομερά γρήγορος! Όποιος κάνει video rendering εξ' ολοκλήρου από τον ssd προφανώς και θα δει κάτι ακριβότερο και καλύτερο αλλά για επεξεργασία εικόνας και για every day use είναι ό,τι καλύτερο κυκλοφορει! Ο T7 δεν ζεσταίνεται καθόλου μέχρι και μετά από ώρες πάνω στο laptop! Σε άλλα νέα και έχει μόνο ένα μικρό λαμπάκι που όταν κάνεις μεταφορά αρχείων αναβοσβήνει! Και για όσους αναρωτιέστε έχει και καλώδιο usb 3,2 σε usb-c μέσα στη συσκευασία οπότε μην φοβάστε ότι πρέπει να αγοράσετε κι άλλο καλώδιο! Πάρτε τον!!

I wanted an external SSD, mainly for backing up personal files. I searched on Skroutz, it had the most and best reviews. I searched online for the ideal SSD for Mac, the first 6-7 sites had it as their top choice. It is fast, has reasonable dimensions, good build quality, and a somewhat more affordable price than others. I am attaching a photo next to an M2 MacBook Air for thickness comparison, while in area it is exactly the size of a credit card.
Ήθελα έναν εξωτερικό ssd, κυρίως για back up προσωπικών αρχείων. Έψαξα στο Skroutz, είχε τις περισσότερες και καλύτερες κριτικές. Έψαξα στο διαδίκτυο για τον ιδανικό ssd για mac, τα πρώτα 6-7 site τον είχαν πρώτη επιλογή. Είναι γρήγορος είναι σε λογικές διαστάσεις, έχει καλή ποιότητα κατασκευής και τιμή κάπως πιο προσιτή από άλλους. Παραθέτω φωτογραφία δίπλα σε m2 MacBook Air για σύγκριση πάχους ενώ σε εμβαδό είναι ακριβώς όσο μια πιστωτική κάρτα.
I have a Mac and although at first I got the Sandisk, I saw that after many reformattings etc. I still couldn't get my work done and I returned it. So I bought the Samsung and I can say PERFECT!! No formatting, I just plugged in the cable and it connected immediately! As for speed, very very fast!!
Εχω ενα mac και ενω στην αρχη πηρα της sandisc ειδα πως μετα απο πολλες μορφοποιησεις κλπ παλι δεν εκανα την δουλεια μου και τον γυρισα πίσω. Ετσι αγορασα τον samsung και μπορω να πω ΑΨΟΓΟΣ!! Καμια μορφοποιηση απλα εβαλα το καλωδιο και συνδεθηκε αμεσως! Οσον αφορα ταχυτητα παρα πολυ γρηγορος!!
This is the second one I buy and I am absolutely satisfied.
The only problem is that with repeated plugging and unplugging, the socket does not hold the cable tightly (on the first one I bought). On the new one it is as it should be, and to avoid the problem I never remove the cable from the drive.

Το μόνο πρόβλημα είναι ότι με την χρήση του βαλε βγάλε το καλώδιο η υποδοχή δεν σφίγγει το καλώδιο καλα (στο 1ο που πήρα). Στο καινούργιο ειναι όσο πρεπει και για να αποφύγω το πρόβλημα δεν βγάζω ποτε το καλώδιο από τον δίσκο.
I bought the Samsung T7 external hard drive in Indigo Blue color, with a capacity of 2TB, for backing up all the files of my PhD. I would like to mention the following:
1. Careful packaging and contents: The packaging was impeccable (see photo below). Inside I found the drive and two cables (USB-C to C and USB-C to A), which is really convenient, as I can connect it to any port (older or newer).
2. Satisfactory Transfer Speed: File transfers were relatively fast. The description mentions speeds up to 1000 MB/s. In my tests, the speed reached up to 600 MB/s. I believe this depends largely on the size of the files being transferred and my computer's hardware. I think with very large, compact files (such as videos or disk images), the speed might get even closer to the official figures.
Overall, the Samsung Portable SSD T7 is a very good external drive that combines reliability, speed, and ease of transport. Although my speeds were a bit below the theoretical maximum, they remain very high for everyday use and backups. The careful packaging is a small but important advantage.

Αγόρασα τον εξωτερικό σκληρό δισκο Samsung T7 χρωμα Indigo Blue, χωρητικότητας 2TB, για τη δημιουργία backup για όλα τα αρχεία του διδακτορικού μου. Θα ήθελα να αναφέρω τα εξής:
1. Προσεγμένη συσκευασία και περιεχόμενα: Η συσκευασία ήταν άψογη (βλ. Φωτο παρακάτω). Εντός βρήκα τον δίσκο και δύο καλώδια (USB-C to C και USB-C to A), κάτι που είναι πραγματικά βολικό, αφού μπορώ να τον συνδέσω σε οποιαδήποτε θύρα (παλαιότερη, νεότερη).
2. Ικανοποιητική Ταχύτητα Μεταφοράς: Η μεταφορά αρχείων πραγματοποιήθηκε σχετικά γρήγορα. Η περιγραφή αναφέρει ταχύτητες έως και 1000 MB/s. Στις δοκιμές μου, η ταχύτητα έφτασε έως και 600 MB/s. Πιστεύω ότι αυτό εξαρτάται σε μεγάλο βαθμό από το μέγεθος των αρχείων που μεταφέρονται και το υλικό του υπολογιστή μου. Πιστεύω ότι με πολύ μεγάλα, συμπαγή αρχεία (όπως βίντεο ή εικόνες δίσκου), η ταχύτητα ίσως πλησιάζει ακόμα περισσότερο τα επίσημα στοιχεία.

I have been using it with a MacBook Pro , for photo and video editing. Very fast and very compact. The only downside is that sometimes the disk doesn't eject properly, and also sometimes i have to plug and unplug it 2-3 times to connect.(maybe the issue is with my laptop)

Excellent portable SSD that combines high performance with a stylish and durable design. It is very small and lightweight (the size of a pack of cigarettes), ideal for carrying everywhere. The read and write speeds are in line with its class, offering convenience for backup tasks and transferring large files. I haven't tried it for video editing directly from the drive. It includes separate USB Type-A and Type-C cables, making it compatible with different devices.
I would prefer a five-year warranty instead of a three-year one, but the overall user experience is positive.

On the first use, during file transfer (photos) and after 50% was completed (about 300 GB), it stopped working. The computer does not recognize it and in disk management it says it is not initialized. When I try to initialize it, it gives an error message. Obviously, it will be returned, but what a disappointment from Samsung!!! Until now, I fully trusted them (I have an Evo 1TB as an internal in my laptop that has been working flawlessly for 7 years and two other external ones bought last year), but not anymore.
Στην 1η χρήση, κατά τη διάρκεια μεταφοράς αρχείων (φωτογραφίες) και αφού είχε ολοκληρωθεί το 50% (περίπου 300 gb) σταμάτησε να δουλεύει. Ο υπολογιστής δεν τον αναγνωρίζει και στο disk management λέει ότι δεν είναι initialized. Όταν πάω να κάνω initialize βγάζει μήνυμα σφάλματος. Προφανώς και θα επιστραφεί, αλλά τι απογοήτευση από την Samsung !!! Μέχρι τώρα την εμπιστευόμουν πλήρως (έχω έναν Evo 1tb ως εσωτερικό στο laptop που δουλεύει απροβλημάτιστα εδώ και 7 χρόνια και άλλους 2 εξωτερικούς αγορασμένους πέρυσι), αλλά όχι πια.
This is not the first time I buy it. I still have another one, bought a year ago. AMAZING! I am crazy about how small this external drive is, how fast and how well it works. I use a hub to transfer files from PC to hard drive, between hard drives or to a flash drive. Basically, I do everything. It has never let me down (so far).
δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που το αγοράζω. Έχω ακόμα έναν, αγορασμένο πριν ενα χρόνο. ΚΑΤΑΠΛΗΚΤΙΚΟΙ! Τρελαίνομαι με το πόσο μικρός είναι αυτός ο εξωτερικός, το πόσο γρήγορος και πόσο καλά δουλεύει. Χρησιμοποιώ hub για να μεταφέρω αρχεία από Η/Υ σε σκληρό, ανάμεσα σε σκληρούς ή σε φλασάκι. Γενικά κάνω τα πάντα. Δεν με έχει κρεμάσει ποτέ (ως τώρα).

It stopped being recognized by more than one computer, even though its blue light turns on. Its use was very careful, only on one computer.

Ο δίσκος ζεσταίνεται πάρα πολύ, ιδίως σε μεγάλα backups.
Σταμάτησε να αναγνωρίζεται από παραπάνω από έναν υπολογιστές, παρόλο που ανάβει το μπλέ λαμπάκι του. Η χρήση του ήταν πολύ προσεκτική μόνο σε έναν υπολογιστή.
Θα επανέλθω με το πως θα πάει η διαδικασία επιστροφής του.
As a DJ, I use it as an external drive for extra music (Traktor Pro 3 - Rekordbox / Macbook Pro). The drive is excellent with very fast speeds and does not overheat. It comes with 2 cables, one USB / Type-C and the other Type C / Type C (3.2). This means you won't need to buy an extra cable. Don't think about buying it, just get it. *I have also made a modification with a 3D Printer to fit it in the laptop stand so that it is in the air in case a drink spills. 10/10

The speeds it claims I haven't seen even with binoculars, however, I use it on an Asus gaming laptop for games on Steam and Epic Games like Fortnite, PUBG, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Death Stranding, etc. It doesn't lag, it doesn't overheat. It's EXCELLENT. 4 stars for the speeds it claims.

The SSD is simply amazing!! I have the MacBook Air M1 chip and with the USB-C to USB-C cable that comes in the package, I reach speeds of 700mb/s write and 800 to 900 mb/s read!! Okay, obviously it doesn't have the prices it claims above, meaning 1000 write, 1100 read, but still it's incredibly fast! Anyone who does video rendering entirely from the SSD will obviously see something more expensive and better, but for image editing and everyday use, it's the best thing out there! The T7 doesn't heat up at all even after hours on the laptop! In other news, it only has a small light that flashes when transferring files! And for those wondering, it also comes with a USB 3.2 to USB-C cable in the package, so don't worry about having to buy another cable! Get it!!
Ο ssd απλά πετάει!! Έχω το MacBook Air M1 chip και με το usb-c σε usb-c που έχει ΜΕΣΑ η συσκευασία φτάνω τα 700mb/s write και 800 με 900 mb/s read!! Εντάξει προφανώς και δεν έχει τις τιμές που λέει πάνω δηλαδή τα 1000 write, 1100 read, αλλά και πάλι είναι τρομερά γρήγορος! Όποιος κάνει video rendering εξ' ολοκλήρου από τον ssd προφανώς και θα δει κάτι ακριβότερο και καλύτερο αλλά για επεξεργασία εικόνας και για every day use είναι ό,τι καλύτερο κυκλοφορει! Ο T7 δεν ζεσταίνεται καθόλου μέχρι και μετά από ώρες πάνω στο laptop! Σε άλλα νέα και έχει μόνο ένα μικρό λαμπάκι που όταν κάνεις μεταφορά αρχείων αναβοσβήνει! Και για όσους αναρωτιέστε έχει και καλώδιο usb 3,2 σε usb-c μέσα στη συσκευασία οπότε μην φοβάστε ότι πρέπει να αγοράσετε κι άλλο καλώδιο! Πάρτε τον!!

I wanted an external SSD, mainly for backing up personal files. I searched on Skroutz, it had the most and best reviews. I searched online for the ideal SSD for Mac, the first 6-7 sites had it as their top choice. It is fast, has reasonable dimensions, good build quality, and a somewhat more affordable price than others. I am attaching a photo next to an M2 MacBook Air for thickness comparison, while in area it is exactly the size of a credit card.

Έψαξα στο διαδίκτυο για τον ιδανικό ssd για mac, τα πρώτα 6-7 site τον είχαν πρώτη επιλογή. Είναι γρήγορος είναι σε λογικές διαστάσεις, έχει καλή ποιότητα κατασκευής και τιμή κάπως πιο προσιτή από άλλους. Παραθέτω φωτογραφία δίπλα σε m2 MacBook Air για σύγκριση πάχους ενώ σε εμβαδό είναι ακριβώς όσο μια πιστωτική κάρτα.
I have a Mac and although at first I got the Sandisk, I saw that after many reformattings etc. I still couldn't get my work done and I returned it. So I bought the Samsung and I can say PERFECT!! No formatting, I just plugged in the cable and it connected immediately! As for speed, very very fast!!
Εχω ενα mac και ενω στην αρχη πηρα της sandisc ειδα πως μετα απο πολλες μορφοποιησεις κλπ παλι δεν εκανα την δουλεια μου και τον γυρισα πίσω. Ετσι αγορασα τον samsung και μπορω να πω ΑΨΟΓΟΣ!! Καμια μορφοποιηση απλα εβαλα το καλωδιο και συνδεθηκε αμεσως! Οσον αφορα ταχυτητα παρα πολυ γρηγορος!!
This is the second one I buy and I am absolutely satisfied.
The only problem is that with repeated plugging and unplugging, the socket does not hold the cable tightly (on the first one I bought). On the new one it is as it should be, and to avoid the problem I never remove the cable from the drive.

I bought the Samsung T7 external hard drive in Indigo Blue color, with a capacity of 2TB, for backing up all the files of my PhD. I would like to mention the following:
1. Careful packaging and contents: The packaging was impeccable (see photo below). Inside I found the drive and two cables (USB-C to C and USB-C to A), which is really convenient, as I can connect it to any port (older or newer).
2. Satisfactory Transfer Speed: File transfers were relatively fast. The description mentions speeds up to 1000 MB/s. In my tests, the speed reached up to 600 MB/s. I believe this depends largely on the size of the files being transferred and my computer's hardware. I think with very large, compact files (such as videos or disk images), the speed might get even closer to the official figures.
Overall, the Samsung Portable SSD T7 is a very good external drive that combines reliability, speed, and ease of transport. Although my speeds were a bit below the theoretical maximum, they remain very high for everyday use and backups. The careful packaging is a small but important advantage.

Αγόρασα τον εξωτερικό σκληρό δισκο Samsung T7 χρωμα Indigo Blue, χωρητικότητας 2TB, για τη δημιουργία backup για όλα τα αρχεία του διδακτορικού μου. Θα ήθελα να αναφέρω τα εξής:
1. Προσεγμένη συσκευασία και περιεχόμενα: Η συσκευασία ήταν άψογη (βλ. Φωτο παρακάτω). Εντός βρήκα τον δίσκο και δύο καλώδια (USB-C to C και USB-C to A), κάτι που είναι πραγματικά βολικό, αφού μπορώ να τον συνδέσω σε οποιαδήποτε θύρα (παλαιότερη, νεότερη).
2. Ικανοποιητική Ταχύτητα Μεταφοράς: Η μεταφορά αρχείων πραγματοποιήθηκε σχετικά γρήγορα. Η περιγραφή αναφέρει ταχύτητες έως και 1000 MB/s. Στις δοκιμές μου, η ταχύτητα έφτασε έως και 600 MB/s. Πιστεύω ότι αυτό εξαρτάται σε μεγάλο βαθμό από το μέγεθος των αρχείων που μεταφέρονται και το υλικό του υπολογιστή μου. Πιστεύω ότι με πολύ μεγάλα, συμπαγή αρχεία (όπως βίντεο ή εικόνες δίσκου), η ταχύτητα ίσως πλησιάζει ακόμα περισσότερο τα επίσημα στοιχεία.

I have been using it with a MacBook Pro , for photo and video editing. Very fast and very compact. The only downside is that sometimes the disk doesn't eject properly, and also sometimes i have to plug and unplug it 2-3 times to connect.(maybe the issue is with my laptop)

Excellent portable SSD that combines high performance with a stylish and durable design. It is very small and lightweight (the size of a pack of cigarettes), ideal for carrying everywhere. The read and write speeds are in line with its class, offering convenience for backup tasks and transferring large files. I haven't tried it for video editing directly from the drive. It includes separate USB Type-A and Type-C cables, making it compatible with different devices.
I would prefer a five-year warranty instead of a three-year one, but the overall user experience is positive.

On the first use, during file transfer (photos) and after 50% was completed (about 300 GB), it stopped working. The computer does not recognize it and in disk management it says it is not initialized. When I try to initialize it, it gives an error message. Obviously, it will be returned, but what a disappointment from Samsung!!! Until now, I fully trusted them (I have an Evo 1TB as an internal in my laptop that has been working flawlessly for 7 years and two other external ones bought last year), but not anymore.
Στην 1η χρήση, κατά τη διάρκεια μεταφοράς αρχείων (φωτογραφίες) και αφού είχε ολοκληρωθεί το 50% (περίπου 300 gb) σταμάτησε να δουλεύει. Ο υπολογιστής δεν τον αναγνωρίζει και στο disk management λέει ότι δεν είναι initialized. Όταν πάω να κάνω initialize βγάζει μήνυμα σφάλματος. Προφανώς και θα επιστραφεί, αλλά τι απογοήτευση από την Samsung !!! Μέχρι τώρα την εμπιστευόμουν πλήρως (έχω έναν Evo 1tb ως εσωτερικό στο laptop που δουλεύει απροβλημάτιστα εδώ και 7 χρόνια και άλλους 2 εξωτερικούς αγορασμένους πέρυσι), αλλά όχι πια.
This is not the first time I buy it. I still have another one, bought a year ago. AMAZING! I am crazy about how small this external drive is, how fast and how well it works. I use a hub to transfer files from PC to hard drive, between hard drives or to a flash drive. Basically, I do everything. It has never let me down (so far).
δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που το αγοράζω. Έχω ακόμα έναν, αγορασμένο πριν ενα χρόνο. ΚΑΤΑΠΛΗΚΤΙΚΟΙ! Τρελαίνομαι με το πόσο μικρός είναι αυτός ο εξωτερικός, το πόσο γρήγορος και πόσο καλά δουλεύει. Χρησιμοποιώ hub για να μεταφέρω αρχεία από Η/Υ σε σκληρό, ανάμεσα σε σκληρούς ή σε φλασάκι. Γενικά κάνω τα πάντα. Δεν με έχει κρεμάσει ποτέ (ως τώρα).

It stopped being recognized by more than one computer, even though its blue light turns on. Its use was very careful, only on one computer.

Ο δίσκος ζεσταίνεται πάρα πολύ, ιδίως σε μεγάλα backups.
Σταμάτησε να αναγνωρίζεται από παραπάνω από έναν υπολογιστές, παρόλο που ανάβει το μπλέ λαμπάκι του. Η χρήση του ήταν πολύ προσεκτική μόνο σε έναν υπολογιστή.
Θα επανέλθω με το πως θα πάει η διαδικασία επιστροφής του.
As a DJ, I use it as an external drive for extra music (Traktor Pro 3 - Rekordbox / Macbook Pro). The drive is excellent with very fast speeds and does not overheat. It comes with 2 cables, one USB / Type-C and the other Type C / Type C (3.2). This means you won't need to buy an extra cable. Don't think about buying it, just get it. *I have also made a modification with a 3D Printer to fit it in the laptop stand so that it is in the air in case a drink spills. 10/10

The speeds it claims I haven't seen even with binoculars, however, I use it on an Asus gaming laptop for games on Steam and Epic Games like Fortnite, PUBG, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Death Stranding, etc. It doesn't lag, it doesn't overheat. It's EXCELLENT. 4 stars for the speeds it claims.
