I bought the Samsung T7 external hard drive in Indigo Blue color, with a capacity of 2TB, for backing up all the files of my PhD. I would like to mention the following:
1. Careful packaging and contents: The packaging was impeccable (see photo below). Inside I found the drive and two cables (USB-C to C and USB-C to A), which is really convenient, as I can connect it to any port (older or newer).
2. Satisfactory Transfer Speed: File transfers were relatively fast. The description mentions speeds up to 1000 MB/s. In my tests, the speed reached up to 600 MB/s. I believe this depends largely on the size of the files being transferred and my computer's hardware. I think with very large, compact files (such as videos or disk images), the speed might get even closer to the official figures.

Although the same gray 2TB works great... the corresponding blue 2TB after 4 connections was transferring at 300kb/sec, so I returned it to Skroutz which found it defective, while mgmanager sent me to Samsung! All this within the warranty period!
But guess what... Samsung does not have hard drive service in Greece!!!! And now we are communicating abroad via email and photos!
Update 2026: In the end, they sent me a new one from the Netherlands.

Small in size, very fast in data transfer (in collaboration with an SSD - transfers 50 GB in less than a minute). I am very satisfied with the purchase. It seems to have a durable construction, but I still give it more time to evaluate it.
Μικρό σε μέγεθος, πολύ γρήγορο στη μεταφορά δεδομένων (σε συνεργασία τουλάχιστον με ssd - μεταφέρει 50 gb σε λιγότερο από λεπτό). Είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένη από την αγορά. Φαίνεται ανθεκτική κατασκευή αλλά του δίνω χρόνο ακόμα για να το αξιολογήσω αυτό.
