It seems to do what it says. Attention: it does NOT support Power Delivery (PD) function for charging computers. It is only for connecting external devices, the type c port is only for providing power to external devices e.g. external hard disk

It cannot support simultaneous connection of HDD and SD card. It keeps disconnecting one of them. There are definitely better options

A 5GB file with the laptop's USB-C port took 2:20 minutes to transfer. With this product, it took just 20 seconds. The difference in speeds is chaotic and just by upgrading your laptop for only 10 euros, it deserves 10 stars.

Negatives:
Plastic feel but you get what you pay for.
It overheats when you plug in all the ports and transfer files.

Positives:
Although it looks plastic, it gives you the impression that it is quality.
Thick, quality USB-C cable which personally suited me because it is relatively short.
The ports are perfect, meaning that when you plug in your USB, it doesn't have room to move left or right. It hugs the USB and is a bit difficult to unplug.
I use it with a USB mouse and USB fan and it has never lagged, and with these two it barely gets warm.
Small white light that turns on and shows you it is working.
As thin as a USB, you can fit it anywhere you want.
4 ports fully cover a laptop as do the speeds it achieves for just 10 euros.

absolutely useless, won't even take 4 usb hdds at a time making it extremely frustrating to use. I have tried editing with my external hdds only for 2 out of 4 of them to be connected at the same time. waste of money

It does its job well. Average build quality, but above the level corresponding to its cost. The length of the cable is short, but good for use with a laptop, which will also have issues with ports. I haven't tested speed with demands. Be careful with the type C port shown in the photos, it is only for power supply and not for data input. More than decent.

After exactly 20 days, it hasn't shown me any problems and it is quite fast (without any loss of speed).

Quality construction. Seamless operation. But unfortunately limited compatibility since my laptop does not have a USB-C port.

Completely plastic in feel when you touch it, I bought it to connect to the MacBook Air via a type C port for the external hard drives I have. For the drive I connected, it takes about 1 minute to load the files from the drive, especially when I open folders with several photos, particularly RAW photo files. For simple text files, PDFs, etc., it seems to respond normally. It's not worth the money

It works seamlessly on MacOS, Windows, and Linux. One thing to note is that if you connect multiple power-consuming components, you will need to connect the external power supply. A simple 2A charger from a mobile phone is sufficient

Now, the real reason I bought this gadget.

In the Lenovo Idea Pad 3 15" I have three USB ports.

1x USB 2.0
1x USB 3.2 Gen 1
1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1

Connecting two good external hard drives (3 Tb - 2.5" Seagate and 4 Tb - 2.5" Toshiba) to the first two, I had data transfer speeds, on average, close to 35 Mbps/sec.

However, connecting this extension to the Type C port, and then the hard drives to the extension, the transfer speed increased to 105 Mbps/sec, on average.

I believe this says it all.

Now, along the way I will try with other devices and see how it works with all 4 ports occupied and I will return.

Very good product for its price, the cable and the type-c plug have a sturdy construction, the body with the USB ports looks more like a second construction as it is plastic and lightweight, which is not unreasonable since they are simple USB ports so it is not something negative. It works great, having connected a mouse, keyboard, an HDD, and an SSD. As for the charging it claims to have, I haven't tested it but I don't think it can handle a laptop. It remains to be seen how long it will last over time.

It is made of high-quality plastic, but it looks so much like aluminum that there is no chance someone would see it and mistake it for plastic! The biggest downside for me is that it only functions as a Hub for the Macbook Air M1 and does not charge it. It indicates power input but does not charge the Mac itself! I tried it on an iPad and it works fine, just like on the laptop. My opinion is to go for something more and get the HDMI one, which is made of aluminum and charges the laptop as well.

A very good USB 3.0 hub with a nice appearance. The connection cable could be a little longer, but it's okay if you have it next to the computer. The only negative is the build quality, made of very lightweight and cheap plastic. I haven't tried connecting multiple devices at the same time yet, but it definitely does its job. I recommend it for purchase!

I give it 3 stars because although in the photos it shows that you can connect it to the power so that the device you have connected charges, in reality the power does not pass to the next device. The Hub receives power because its light turns on, but it doesn't go to the device. It has been tested with different cables, different chargers, and on different devices, but nothing. Unfortunately, I also bought an extra adapter to change it to type-c.

I tried 3 other hubs. This is the only one that didn't create any issues. Usually, I have connected 1 USB 32GB, 1 USB 128GB (stick), and 1 WD Elements 2TB without any problem. I am using a MacBook Air M1.

It works as it should, the only reason I give it 3 stars is the quality of construction, it is made of poor quality plastic, scratches very easily, and gives you the feeling of a non-quality product.

So far, no Ugreen product has disappointed me. The same goes for this one. It works exactly as it should, I tested it simultaneously with multiple connected devices, from flash drives to external hard drives, transferring data while having a mouse and keyboard connected, and it didn't seem to lose its connection for even a moment. Its plastic seems simple, but I wouldn't expect any other material for a device that doesn't need material durability. The only negative for me is the length of its cable, which is 15 centimeters.
