What does the Church say about… The Providence of God and luck

There are people –even educated ones– who, out of ignorance, believe in luck and not in the Providence of God. However, God encourages us to trust in His Providence, not to worry, to ask, to hope in His love.

In this brief study, the reader is informed about the meanings of the concepts of luck and misfortune and is encouraged to approach and know His Providence, based on the Scriptures and the opinions of the Fathers. As Saint Paisios said: “God gently caresses the hearts of all people with His love at every moment, but we do not realize it, because our hearts are filled with grime…”
