The Protecta Electronic Mole Repeller stake emits periodic sound pulses and low-frequency vibrations underground, designed to deter moles, blind mole rats and other burrowing rodents without harming them. It covers up to 800 m² in compact soil, with the effective range varying depending on the soil composition.

The device runs on D / LR20 alkaline batteries, which can support continuous operation for several months. Its casing is made of plastic and features a waterproof green cap. To install it, first make a hole in the ground, then press the soil firmly around the stake to eliminate gaps and improve vibration transmission. Rodents are usually deterred within 2–3 weeks of continuous operation.
