The product in question was installed in the front windshield of a black 2005 Toyota Corolla, believe me, it matters. I was worried about the fact that it would be exposed to the sun, how the suction cup would come off. But in the end, the quality of construction let me down. More specifically, the nut that holds the tightening screw for the neck, that is, this little screw adjusts the tilt that the phone will have, that’s why I call it a neck, broke. I didn’t even notice it, and in about a month and a half or approximately 20 to 25 driving hours, the entire base broke. Now, for those interested, I recommend the base without reservation, as the exact same one was purchased by a friend of mine, and it has lasted over a year, while mine broke in about four months. However, I suspect this happened due to the sun, as I installed it in December, and everything was fine until February. From mid-February to early April, when it broke, I started to notice wear, which I believe was due to the sun. The friend I mentioned has a white car and uses a lot of sun protection; I didn’t use it, or if I did, it was internal, so the base was still exposed to the sun
