  • Magnification

Indicates how many times closer an object appears. Higher magnification is not always better, as it affects image stability and field of view.

  • Lens Diameter

    50

Specifies the size of the front lens and is the main factor for the brightness of the image. Your choice here is a direct compromise between maximum performance in low light and ease of portability. See details in the table!

  • Usage

    Sea

Observation takes place from an unstable platform, such as a boat, which makes image stabilization difficult. The environment is humid and the equipment is exposed to water and moisture.

    Sky Observation

It concerns the observation of extremely distant and faintly lit celestial bodies in conditions of complete darkness. Even the slightest instability dramatically affects observation, as the magnification is usually very high.

  • Prism Type

    Porro

The classic, traditional binocular design, featuring the characteristic wide "Z" shape. This configuration offers a strong sense of depth (3D) in the image and is known for its excellent optical performance relative to its cost.

Description & Specifications

The Bresser Topas Kompas 7x50 are high-quality binoculars with Porro prisms, specifically designed for marine activities and sports. With a 7x magnification, they are ideal for observing bright signals, other ships, and bridges, even during storms. The 50 mm lens diameter offers brightness and eases their use at night under a clear sky. The exit pupil is 7.15 mm, the same as the human pupil, allowing maximum brightness. They include fully adjustable diopter LE-(Long Eye) optical lenses with eye guards for adaptation to personal vision. The eye guards can be folded, providing full field of view for eyeglass users. After focusing at a distance of approximately 20 meters, the image remains clear to infinity without further adjustments.
