The Divine Liturgy is about the present and the eschaton. In search of a "definition" of the Divine Liturgy, we would say that it is the "Kingdom of God," which is experienced in the present place and time, yet is secretly revealed in the heart of each believer in a unique way. The Mystery is a depth, it is an experience. What can you explain? We thank God for those things we do not understand, but within which we live. Indeed, here lies the essence. Many times during the Divine Liturgy, we do not understand what is happening, we do not comprehend it, but we live it. And we live it according to the purity we have. This current edition has coincided with our days, amid an "organized" attempt at blasphemy against the Holy Mystery. Our prayer and hope with this book is to provide a "response" through a "concise catechesis" about the Divine Liturgy, to all who desire and seek such a thing. We wish that what is mentioned in our work serves as a "catalyst" and incentive for further contemplation and "discovery" of the "secrets of the Mystery," which is at the heart of our Orthodox Faith.
