Description

The book: An elderly fox no longer has the strength to hunt. From morning to night, she tells stories to her grandchildren, which she also embroiders. One day she says to her daughter, "I don't want to be a burden to you anymore," and leaves the den. The little foxes try to change her mind, but nothing works. Just when they believed they would never see her again, they learn one day that their grandmother has become a famous Tale-Embroidress and lives in the incredible Tale School. "How did this happen?" they wonder and decide...

The series: To ensure that children have a healthy social life founded on effective relationships, they must cultivate empathy, the ability to put themselves in others' shoes, to understand and feel things the same way another person experiences them. This need is addressed by the illustrated books of this series, which promote emotional intelligence. With the proposed approach for parents and educators, they aim to immerse children in seeing the world through others' eyes, after they first learn to recognize and manage their own emotions.

The author: Yiolanda Tsoronis-Georgiadis holds degrees from the Law School, the Pedagogical Academy, and the Pedagogical Department of the University of Athens, and has furthered her education at the Marasleio Teaching School. She worked for many years in public education, writes articles for educational magazines, volunteers in organizations promoting literature, is an active member of the Women's Literary Society, and has published numerous books for children and studies on folklore. She has been added to the Registry of Educators for the program "Innovative Actions to Enhance Students' Love of Reading" and has undertaken educational projects in training seminars for Primary Education teachers.
