Rocket Arena Mythic Edition for Xbox One is an online third-person shooter featuring 3v3 team battles, where rockets and heroes' special abilities determine the outcome. Players can return to the arena after being launched out of it, and each hero has unique powers, a backstory and rivalries.

The maps feature hidden traps and points to explore, while rockets can be used for jumping and climbing. Matches offer different game modes, including Knockout, Rocketball, Mega Rocket and Treasure Hunt. The Mythic Edition includes skins for Jayto, Kayi, Blastbeard and Izell, rocket trails, and Rocket Fuel to purchase the Blast Pass or cosmetic customisations. An internet connection and an Xbox Live Gold subscription, sold separately, are required.
