Description

Wireless USB stick with wireless speeds of 1300Mbps (400Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 867Mbps at 5GHz), supporting the next-generation Wi-Fi 802.11ac standard, with improved range and signal quality, the T3U Plus guarantees you a fast, secure, and stable connection.

AC1300 Dual Band for High Speeds

The Archer T3U Plus supports the 802.11ac standard, offering speeds up to 3 times faster than the older N standard. With 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band for demanding tasks such as gaming and 400 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band for simple browsing, you have ultimate flexibility. The simultaneous use of both bands allows your computer to always connect to the fastest possible network, avoiding interference from other household devices.

External High Gain Antenna for Extended Coverage

Unlike common USB adapters, the T3U Plus features an impressive external high-gain antenna (High Gain). This design allows signal reception from a greater distance and with more stability, even if the router is in another room. The antenna is fully adjustable and omnidirectional, allowing you to rotate it towards the direction of the signal to achieve the best possible connection.

MU-MIMO Technology for Maximum Performance

Thanks to MU-MIMO technology, the Archer T3U Plus can provide two simultaneous data streams, improving the performance and efficiency of your entire network when working with a compatible router. Instead of waiting its turn to receive data, the adapter communicates with the router simultaneously, offering smooth streaming and faster downloads, even when many other devices are connected to the same WiFi.

SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Connection

To fully utilize the speed of 1300 Mbps, the adapter uses the USB 3.0 port. With data transfer rates up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0, it ensures that there is no internal bottleneck in data flow. This makes the Archer T3U Plus ideal for activities that require high bandwidth, such as downloading large files and watching videos in 4K resolution.

Easy Installation and Security

The installation of the Archer T3U Plus is extremely simple, thanks to the user-friendly interface and the included driver CD. It supports the latest security standards to protect your data from unauthorized access. It is fully compatible with Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems, ensuring that you can upgrade your connection in just a few minutes, regardless of the type of computer you have.

Compact and Ergonomic Design

Despite its powerful antenna, the Archer T3U Plus maintains a compact design that does not block the adjacent USB ports of your computer. Its sturdy construction and the high-quality finish of TP-LINK guarantee durability for everyday use. It is the ideal solution for desktop systems that do not have built-in WiFi or for laptops that need a stronger and more stable connection for professional use.

  • Excellent and with a good antenna in my opinion. I don't need to have it upright; in my case, even completely horizontal parallel to the side of the laptop where I have it, it still works perfectly and takes up minimal space

The other reviews are correct in that it disconnects more often than it should. Also, the driver CD no longer comes in the box, so you have to download them from the website. It also loses a lot of speed at a relatively short distance (4 meters with no wall in between, 65-70% loss)

Very good and stable performance on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. On Linux Mint 21.3 with kernel 6.8 it worked right away without needing to look for drivers. (On kernel 5.15 I tried three drivers and only one worked, and although it works well, it has a delay in connecting to wifi of about 20 seconds.)

Okay, let's be honest, it's not like an expensive network card, you need to play a lot with the location and angle to get the maximum performance. Personally, when I had my computer under the desk in a relatively obstructed spot (walls, cables, and wood all around), it didn't get a good signal and there were disconnections. After I moved it to the bookshelf next to it, I have a minimum performance of over 50mbps, which is more than enough for me.
Note that for those of you who have another network device like an internal antenna (like mine that broke), you should go into device manager and disable it. Also, make sure to install the correct driver needed for this gadget, which I did simply by running the CD that came with the product.
Other than that, it does what it promises.

I bought a ZTE pocket wifi 5G which broadcasts at 2.4 and 5 Giga and I thought, why not get this particular antenna as well to get the most out of my computer? The result was tragic... At 5 Giga, even though I installed the drivers from the CD, at first it connected and then the ordeal began... Continuous disconnections and when it did connect, I had to re-enter the password and again disconnections, until in the end it wouldn't connect at all... I got frustrated and switched the pocket wifi back to 2.4 and now it works just fine without disconnections and without passwords... For 5G, stay away...

Works perfectly on Debian Linux (kernel 6.1), as long as I download the correct driver from GitHub. Full router speed (200mbps). Works well with the tplink re305 extender. Much stronger reception than a simple nano USB I used as an antenna. I've had it for a few days, so far no disconnections.

Terrible, just like every TP-Link wireless USB network card I've tried (this is the 3rd one): at first it works fine, but after a while (not even a month) it starts disconnecting, and after a few more days it can see the hotspot from the phone (that's what I'm using it for), but it shows "unable to connect." At first, the problem is solved with restarts, disconnecting and reconnecting (device and software), but then it becomes immune to that too, and you can't connect no matter what! Stay away from any TP-Link card.

The worst purchase ever and after this, I will think very seriously about whether to buy products from this company again. Continuous disconnections from the first day and the support I called unfortunately has no idea. The store where I bought it does not do replacements but they told me they would send it for inspection, so you understand we are talking about wasted money as I cannot stay without wifi and I will buy another one from a different company to get my work done.

Really very bad. It has serious high latency issues and small freezes, which make it completely unsuitable for gaming and video calls. I searched a lot for drivers and other solutions on official forums. Nothing fixes the latency, lag, and instabilities that many users have. If it's for simple internet browsing, then it's okay. But I think there are much better options out there for the same price.

5/5 only for the first impression ...... as soon as it was turned on, it found a 5G network ..... So, on a 15-year-old desktop with an i3 processor, the speeds are the same as the M1 Air Mac !!! For the first time on a computer other than a Mac, I see exactly the same wireless speeds as those sent by the provider to the router !!! Better, of course, than the wired connection that the PC had !!! So far, I have shut down and restarted the computer twice and it enters without any problem ...... I will also try a nice stress test to see and I will let you know !!!!

Update: it doesn't freeze, it doesn't lag anywhere, it runs smoothly in 4K without any issues on a 3rd generation i3 PC. It connected flawlessly to the Deko Wi-Fi 6 with my eyes closed

Well, I installed it. First, I ran its CD and then I plugged it into the computer.
From that moment on, no issues, router password, and that's it. With the bedroom door closed, the router is in the hallway, no issues.
It is cheap and reliable, at least in my case, and I haven't experienced any disconnections or low signal quality.

    For those who have problems:
1st. As someone else said, stay away from the router.
2nd. First, use the CD or go online to install the drivers (and find the correct device if you go to the website), and then connect it to USB.

Review: Personally, I find it excellent. The router is in the living room, and I have placed it in a room several meters away, and it catches the signal perfectly. I have also connected it to a USB extend hub to have it on my desk, and I was afraid of losing speed due to USB. I pay for 100 mbps, and it reaches 103 mbps in the tests, which is excellent. It doesn't lose anything even with a closed door.

  • I've had it for a few days so I don't have a complete opinion yet, but I just plugged it into the computer and it worked, no driver was needed. The router is next to the room, there's just one wall in between. Very good for twenty euros, or so it seems for now

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. It didn't work at all. I downloaded the drivers properly and it just didn't work. I requested a return explaining that it is defective, they refused. Stay away

I hope my opinion remains the same in the future.

It works and plug n play without a driver.
I have it for music streaming on a PC with optical fiber DIA 300mbps.

For eight months now, no problems at all

Almost two (2) years of continuous and flawless operation. No disconnections, high speeds at 5GHz. Recognition and installation without any problem on Linux and on Windows 7 and 10.

Do not buy it under any circumstances. Waste of money. The first few days everything was fine until suddenly from 25 I started getting only 5-7mbbs max. I tried everything and unfortunately it doesn't fix

I confirm the frequent disconnections without reason, with drivers from the official site and connected to a USB 3.0 port. It is unsuitable for gaming and video calls, but it works fine for simple internet browsing.

If you need it for gaming, stay away! Unstable latency (meaning smoothing in ping). For downloads and web surfing, it's worth it!

In Linux, open source drivers are needed, which I found relatively easily and they work relatively well.
ATTENTION! In Windows 10, when using the WPA3 protocol, it causes blue screens during connection

Used for work from home, unfortunately, very often during conference calls I have instant disconnections. So not particularly reliable, not recommended for this use. For casual browsing or streaming, I haven't encountered any problems.

Everything is perfect. Only thing that gave me trouble was the installation because it either doesn't have or didn't work with plug and play.

  • Excellent and with a good antenna in my opinion. I don't need to have it upright; in my case, even completely horizontal parallel to the side of the laptop where I have it, it still works perfectly and takes up minimal space

  • On Linux Mint 20.2 with kernel 5.15.0-139 it works normally, you just need to play a bit with the drivers.

  • it does not disconnect, it works well, the only negative is that it shows me four out of five bars even though it is at a distance of three meters from the router without anything blocking it

  • The other reviews are correct in that it disconnects more often than it should. Also, the driver CD no longer comes in the box, so you have to download them from the website. It also loses a lot of speed at a relatively short distance (4 meters with no wall in between, 65-70% loss)

  • Very good and stable performance on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. On Linux Mint 21.3 with kernel 6.8 it worked right away without needing to look for drivers. (On kernel 5.15 I tried three drivers and only one worked, and although it works well, it has a delay in connecting to wifi of about 20 seconds.)
