The Steiner SkyHawk 4.0 binoculars offer 8x magnification and 42 mm-diameter lenses for viewing at sea and while hiking. The high-contrast optics deliver bright, sharp images with natural colours, while the minimum focusing distance is 2 m.

The 360° focusing wheel lets you preset the viewing distance and focus quickly, from 2 m to infinity. The Makrolon polycarbonate body has a non-slip rubber coating that resists oil, acids and weather. The binoculars are nitrogen-filled and operate at temperatures from -20 °C to +70 °C.

The fold-down eyecups are made of silicone and can be folded down for use with prescription glasses. The package includes a case, a neoprene carrying strap and lens covers.
