You can make wands from dowels with rope for soap bubbles using 5 mm braided cord from knitting supplies. If it is not braided, the thread tends to twist as soon as it gets wet. If you use distilled water, they say the mixture lasts a week. One bottle of jlube is enough for 300-400 liters of bubble liquid. I have no idea for any other use....
