High-resolution and quality photos and 4K video recording
Combining the latest technology image sensor, back-illuminated, CMOS (which excels in high sensitivity and low noise and ensures rapid reading of signals from image data) with the high-performance imaging engine, the WG-6 offers top ISO6400 sensitivity and exceptionally high-resolution images with approximately 20.0 active megapixels.
Additionally, it provides 4K video recording in H.264 format, allowing the user to capture high-quality extended movie clips (3840 x 2160 pixels, at a frame rate of 30). In addition to the conventional MovieSR shake reduction function, it also features the new MovieSR+ function, which creates a shake reduction effect similar to that produced by a gimbal.
Six Marco lamps, multi-purpose, serve close-up shots
Placed around the circumference of the lens, the six LED Macro lamps of the WG-6 allow the user to select a higher shutter speed to minimize camera shake and subject movement in macro photography and close-up shots. The brightness level can be increased up to 10 times compared to a conventional unit. Additionally, they allow for selective lighting, where the user can activate only the horizontal or vertical lamps to illuminate the subject more three-dimensionally and emphasize its delicate contours.
3" LCD Screen and Enhanced GPS Features
The WG-6 comes equipped with a large 3.0-inch high-resolution LCD screen, with a 3:2 aspect ratio and approximately 1,040,000 dots. The AR (Anti-Reflection) coating minimizes annoying reflections and ensures clear and sharp images on the screen even under intense sunlight often encountered in outdoor photography.
Additionally, it features a built-in GPS unit, which automatically records location and calendar data on the photos and adjusts the built-in clock to the local time. By connecting it to the SBAS (satellite-based augmentation system), the user can even record precise location data in various locations and times.
