Did you think you were listening with headphones from the motherboard output? You're mistaken! This particular card is the best for cheap VFM. It simply rocks.

For those of you who have a space issue, you can install it in a PCI-e x4 (x8, x16) slot, instead of the x1 it requires. As you can see in my photo. It will work normally.

As a sound card... Creative. Nothing more needs to be said. A guarantee since the ISA card era. (and Dos 6.22 - Windows 3.1)
It works fine on Windows 11, as it updated its drivers itself. (Update through its app, not from its website).

I did not install its... Christmas lights (LEDs), because my side panel does not have a window.

As for sound, it's a good upgrade from the integrated one I had, and I think it gave me more volume on my 7.1 peripheral speakers than the integrated one. (Realtek)

It's a pity they don't provide Dolby Atmos decoding, but I guess Dolby doesn't want that, so they can sell all the other systems...

    P.S.

Because someone said there are no drivers and control program, FOR THE INTEGRATED ONES (Realtek), you now download them from the Microsoft Store

Purchased to boost the z906, I haven't dealt with settings, I just switch between the ready-made profiles in the program depending on whether it's for movies, games, or music. Definitely worth a hundred but not more. Nice lighting and design, easy installation, and you will also need a molex for the extra light bar included.

Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus Internal PCI Express 5.1 Sound Card, an amazing implementation at a reasonable price from one of the most experienced and oldest companies in the field when it comes to producing quality sound cards for computers. It features a multitude of audio inputs and outputs, both analog and digital, with very good RGB lighting.
Its sound is the best I have heard in terms of performance for music and movie watching from the computer, of course combined with a good set of self-powered speakers. And for gaming, the card's performance is very good, providing a realistic and unique experience for the computer user.

Even motherboards costing 1000 euros do not produce such sound!
Sound cards have made a comeback for several years now!
Unfortunately, many people do not know this and consider the motherboard's sound to be good! Wrong!
Guys, around 2000, we all had a sound card, but after a while, motherboards surpassed most sound cards, so we stopped considering them a vital part of our PC.
But in recent years, companies, trying (for profit) to cut whatever they can from their implementations, seem to have sacrificed sound!
Buy one (not necessarily this one!) and enjoy responsibly!

Thank you to all the friends for the positive reviews of this card. I was indecisive for a long time about whether it was worth it, going in and out of the skroutz cart. Is it worth it? Of course, it really makes a huge difference compared to the On board in both sound quality and volume. I invested solely for music and I am more than 100% satisfied. Just make sure to pair it with two decent speakers or headphones to utilize it as it truly deserves.

Unfortunately, I didn't like the sound it produces; for its price, the sound is not good. First of all, what it claims to be 32bit 384Hz is only when the sound card plays flat, meaning without processing from the DAC (processor). When you disable the direct mode, it only gives you the option of 96Hz 24bit, which is a major disadvantage of the card. In direct mode, you lose processing but gain frequencies; in the other mode, you lose frequencies. Unfortunately, the sound has a generally harsh quality; it doesn't work for the music I wanted. The Creative Z SE is far superior and cheaper. I don't know about games and movies; it might be better for those, but if you want it for music and you have good hi-fi speakers, it doesn't work at all. It's better to stick with the motherboard than this one. I emphasize for music; it might work for movies and games

Incredible difference from the onboard chipset. It's worth buying it

  • Did you think you were listening with headphones from the motherboard output? You're mistaken! This particular card is the best for cheap VFM. It simply rocks.

  • For those of you who have a space issue, you can install it in a PCI-e x4 (x8, x16) slot, instead of the x1 it requires.

    P.S.
    Off topic

Because someone said there are no drivers and control program, FOR THE INTEGRATED ONES (Realtek), you now download them from the Microsoft Store

  • Purchased to boost the z906, I haven't dealt with settings, I just switch between the ready-made profiles in the program depending on whether it's for movies, games, or music. Definitely worth a hundred but not more. Nice lighting and design, easy installation, and you will also need a molex for the extra light bar included.

  • Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus Internal PCI Express 5.1 Sound Card, an amazing implementation at a reasonable price from one of the most experienced and oldest companies in the field when it comes to producing quality sound cards for computers.
