My aluminum installer put it in. I put insulating tape on the upper bolt so I don't get locked out due to vibration, the plate is like a clothespin if it loosens or breaks. I only use the lower bolt.

The final application is nice. And as an image on the door, it is very good. I struggled quite a bit with the installation because even if you screw half a centimeter wrong, it won't close at all afterwards.

Excellent product. I have bought 10 and now another 5. If I hadn't considered another solution, I would probably buy another 30-40 to put 2-3 in each opening.

Good product, the only thing is that over the years the plastics turn slightly yellow and the plastics of the handles need glue because they loosen and come off.

I have had the product for years, it gives me a sense of security as when I am inside the house at night, a locked door by itself is not a guarantee, so it is an excellent product.

It seems to be very well constructed, the pins secure to prevent them from falling when unlocked and they come out easily if you need to place the safety elsewhere with a screwdriver. The screws do not require drilling, they can be easily placed with an electric or regular screwdriver.

Very easy to install, although the instructions in the packaging are insufficient for someone who is not handy. It comes with the screws you will need to install it.

I put it on a window that didn't lock properly as an extra security measure and I am very satisfied with the result. I have also installed it on the front door for additional security.
