I got it because I needed a cooler under 150mm in height for LGA1700 and because the stock one from Intel is noisy. I don't understand why it has clips and screws; it should have had the push pins like the stock Intel one. In short, the screws touch the heatsinks of the VRM on the motherboard, one screw got stuck in the clip and won't come out no matter what, resulting in it not being usable at all. On Arctic's website on the product page, I didn't see a warning about VRM heatsinks, only later in the manual. Be very careful if you have VRM heatsinks, go elsewhere.

Arctic responded almost immediately to my request and offered to send me a bracket to fit with the motherboard. Excellent service.

First of all, we are talking about a cooler that is quiet and aesthetically decent for under 20€. I tested it on an i7 11700 and after a long stress test it remains at 70-75 degrees with a peak of 78.

intel i5 11400 2.6 GHz. MB b560 pro4. With 100% CPU usage, it did not exceed 60°C and remained quiet. It is quite large in size, but the dimensions are dictated by the theory of heat transfer.

I give it 4 stars because you should know that if your computer case is micro ATX, you will struggle to install the cooler. I had a hard time reaching my hands to hold the screw from the top while using my small screwdriver. However, I have:
- Ryzen 7 5700g, which with the stock cooler reached 97° in Rocket League, but now I haven't tested it yet, but it's at 33° in idle.
Edit: After 5 months, it started making a creaking sound when the RPM goes up

Very good in cooling the processor but in my case (socket 775) one end does not fit, even though it says in the description that it is compatible with 775.
Correction: After contacting them, I received a refund and sent the cooler back, so I gave it 4 stars because the cooler does its job in terms of cooling, just make sure it is compatible with your setup

I also had to cut the screw (filed and slightly shaved the bracket) on the 1155 socket, otherwise the heatsink wouldn't fit on the Asus P8Z68 motherboard.

I have both the 7x and the 7x co, the difference between them is in the fan lubrication system. They both work perfectly and are quiet, and offer great value for money. You won't see a huge difference in temperatures, I would say around 5 to 10 degrees lower. The installation can range from easy to difficult depending on the space provided by your case or motherboard.

Very good cooling, easy installation on am4, almost silent fan but occasionally it synchronizes and makes a creaking noise on the blades of the cooler. Annoying and repetitive creaking, which is why the low rating is given...

EDIT: The noise issue was "resolved" through BIOS settings. I simply selected that below 37 degrees (when the CPU is not running a fever) the fan can remain off...
My processor is the AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G without overclocking. With a room temperature of 22 degrees and normal use such as browsing, watching movies, etc., the CPU stays at 32 degrees without the fan running.

Guys, this cooler is both very good but also has two flaws. First of all, I must mention that it cools the processor very effectively (in my case, the i5 10500 with a maximum recorded temperature of 69°C during a stress test). However, it has two flaws. Firstly, it revives and resurrects the dead under full load, and secondly, (something which I personally don't know if it happens to you, but in this specific motherboard [Asrock-B460M-Pro4] I had to cut 4 millimeters off the screws because they interfered with the vrm plates. Other than that, you should know that it is a very good and economical cooler.

The performance of the cooler rivals coolers that cost twice as much. It was installed on a Ryzen 5 3600 overclocked to 4.35ghz with idle temperatures around 40 degrees and full load (Prime 95) temperatures around 85 degrees, while gaming temperatures were around 65 degrees. It is completely silent even under full load. Simply the best cooler available for under 35€.

The cooler is definitely better than the stock cooler available. However, if you are getting it for an Intel 10th generation, look elsewhere, for just 10 € you can get much better cooling with more copper pipes for heat dissipation.

One of the best price to performance coolers out there, the r5 3600 keeps it at 4.2ghz at 40 to 83 degrees Celsius. The only issue is the installation, it took me about 40 minutes to figure out how to put it on, but in the end I was blown away by its performance!

The way it is installed is a bit strange. You have to completely unscrew the screws and pay attention to a video on how the clips should be, to put it on and screw it in.

I didn't understand how to install it and it gave me a hard time. We're talking about AM4. When I unscrewed the screws more, it went in easily. I thought the plastic was more flexible and I had to press it to make it fit... Basically, it attaches to the plastic of the motherboard (in 2 points) and doesn't have its own base. This is a bit negative if it breaks or if you lose the base, for example, because you had the AMD cooler. (for Intel, it has its own base)

I think for its price, it is quite good and quite easy to install. It has thermal paste for the processor. It doesn't make noise.
