    Unlike many molex-to-sata adapters, this particular model is NOT one of those that can catch fire. The reason is that this one is one of the so-called "crimped" adapters, which keep each 5V/12V/GND wire isolated. Also, the wires are 18 AWG. Buy without fear.

    EDIT: ATTENTION! There are pieces that instead of being crimped, are injection molded, which are the models that can catch fire. If you get such pieces, do not use them. Return them. I have to remove one star for this, due to this risk.
