Features

  • Extremely flexible dressings, with high absorbency and soft texture.
  • Sterilized by radiation (Gamma rays) for greater safety. 
  • They offer good biological compatibility and wound drainage, thanks to the plant extract Alginate and the mixture of Calcium Ions they contain.
  • Soft and easy to apply, with high absorbency.
  • Indicated for mild bleeding, minor injuries & superficial wounds, as they accelerate the healing process by protecting against infections.
  • Protects against infections.
  • Renews the cells of the epidermis's stratum corneum.
  • Accelerates the healing process.

Usage Instructions

  • Wash the wound with saline solution and gently apply the dressing around the wound. 
  • When the dressing is saturated with Alginate Salt, it needs timely replacement. 
  • In the initial stage, the dressing should be replaced every 24 hours.
  • The Calcium Alginate dressing can remain for up to 7 days, depending on the patient's condition.
  • Carefully remove the secondary bandage, then gently remove the Calcium Alginate dressing from the wound and dispose of it. 
  • If the wound appears dry, moisten the dressing with sterile saline solution before removal. 
  • If required, wash the wound area with an appropriate wound cleanser before applying the dressing.
