The Optex HX-40DAM wired motion sensor combines two pyroelectric PIR elements with microwave detection and an Antimasking function. It is designed for indoor and outdoor use, with coverage of up to 12 m, an 85° detection angle, and 94 coverage zones. Microwave technology helps reduce the effects of sunlight and reflections.

The range can be set to 4 m, 5.5 m, 9 m, or 12 m. Sensitivity has three levels and includes automatic adjustment. The tilt angle is adjustable, and the detection speed ranges from 0.3 to 1.5 m/s.
