The Aspivenin sucks out the poison from bites or stings, thanks to the 800 millibar vacuum created on the skin's surface. The constant pressure of the Aspivenin prevents the circulation of the poisonous substance and raises the allergic reaction to the higher layers of the skin, resulting in the neutralization of the local allergic reaction.
Usage
It is used for all poisonous bites or stings from insects and fish, as well as for irritation/urticaria from irritating/poisonous plants. It is a First Aid device and does not replace immediate medical attention in cases of serious bites/stings or allergic reactions.
Contraindications
Its use is contraindicated when the sting is on the eyelids, eardrums, genitals, and the mucous membrane of the mouth.
Instructions & Usage Tips
1. Place, without force, the appropriate suction cup depending on the type and location of the sting or bite. Pull the pump plunger completely out. For babies or sensitive areas, less under-pressure may be sufficient, pulling the plunger out accordingly, e.g., halfway.
2. Place the Aspivenin, with the appropriate suction cup, over the sting site. (Shave the area around the sting if necessary for better contact of the suction cup with the skin.)
3. Hold the pump correctly and press the plunger continuously down with the tip of your thumb until it locks. Keep the Aspivenin still to act for 30 – 90 seconds. (See indicative table). Repeat the suction if necessary, until the pain is eliminated. The smallest suction cup can be applied from both sides.
4. Gently lift the Aspivenin plunger to stop the suction and rinse the wound with plenty of water or an antiseptic.
Cleaning
After each use, it is necessary to wash the suction cup(s) with plenty of water and soap. Water should not enter the pump.
The Aspivenin is not disposable and should be stored in a dry place.
