The woman writes very beautifully. I recognize that about her. The plot is a bit stretched and messy, but it is still an interesting read.

Good book. Nice story. It did get a little tiring in the middle, but it satisfied me in the end. I recommend it!

It looks like a copy of the book "The Eye of the North". Different story, of course, but some elements are common. It's enough to pass the time. Worth reading because it is a mediocre to good book

Description & Specifications

In the 1960s in Greece, among other things, the biggest domestic movie stars emerged. I was one of them, Victor Notaras. Very few knew that my first teenage steps were taken in the infamous narrow streets of the most sinful neighborhood, Troumba, with the brothels and women who sold cheap love, first as a lover and then as a drug dealer.

My future was uncertain, but I didn't care at all. And why should I care? I was young, charming, and I didn't go unnoticed. A twist of fate made me, overnight, the star of movies; I became what they called a film star, a star. I don’t know how the hell I shot up so high; others decided it, not me.

Soon, I left for abroad and built a career there as well. I had it all. Youth, fame, money. Women were crazy for my autograph, much more for a night with me. I appreciated nothing... Nothing. Unable to handle my immense fame, I did everything to tarnish my name, to trample on my genuine talent, to destroy my image, to shatter my idol.

Until I realized that I wasn't the perpetrator I believed I was, that everyone believed I was; I was the victim. But it was too late. You see, when idols crack, they get "killed." Can a youthful mistake bring about a reversal? Can it be the reason for us to reconsider our entire life? To be reborn? Perhaps...
