No matter how much I tighten it, unfortunately it still leaks a little from the faucet because it is constantly open due to pressure, also I read from others that you should not have it in the middle cold hot unless you have a reverse system, I removed it from my faucet.
Όσο και να το σφίγγω δυστυχώς μου κάνει μια μικρή διαρροή στην βρύση επειδή είναι μόνιμα ανοιχτό από την πίεση λογικά, επίσης διάβασα και από άλλους ότι δεν πρέπει να την έχεις στην μέση κρύο ζεστό εκτός αν έχεις αντεπιστροφα στο σύστημα,εγω την έβγαλα από την βρύση μου.

Ο αισθητήρας πράγματι από κάτω δεν έχει μεγάλη εμβέλεια και πρέπει να κολλάς σχεδόν τα χέρια σου στην βρύση για να λειτουργήσει. Άπαξ και μάθεις την απόσταση μετά το κάνεις ψιλομηχανικά. Απλά όποιος έρχεται για επίσκεψη και δεν ξέρει δεν καταλαβαίνει πως λειτουργεί ο αισθητήρας και που πρέπει να βάλει τα χέρια του και γίνεται λίγο δύσκολο.

Very practical, long battery life so I don't have to disconnect it often for charging.
The only negative is that the second sensor located below doesn't have a good distance range, which makes it almost useless. You have to keep your hands very close without any distance. I have bought 3 and all 3 have the same issue. I use it more with the side sensor that stays open if something passes by and closes when it passes again.

το μονο αρνητικο ειναι πως ο δεύτερος αισθητήρας που βρισκεται κατω, δεν εχει καλή εμβέλεια αποστασης που τον κανει σχεδόν αχρηστο πρεπει να ναι τα χερια κολλητά απο κατω χωρις καμια αποσταση. εχω παρει 3. και στα 3 μου κανει το ιδιο. το χρησιμοποιω περισσότερο με τον πλαϊνό αισθητηρα που μενει ανοιχτο αν περάσει κατι απο διπλα, και κλεινει οταν ξαναπερασει.

The idea is clever and the automation works fine. Also, I haven't had to charge the battery after 1 year of use. If your water pressure is low, keep in mind that the mechanism will make it even lower and your hands might come too close to the bottom of the sink when washing them. Also, if the lower sensor gets wet and a drop remains on it, the faucet may open and close by itself until you clean it.
The major drawback and limitation is that under certain conditions, it can cause issues with the plumbing if you operate the faucet in intermediate mixed mode (i.e. half hot, half cold), as the faucet always remains open and the hot-cold networks are in constant contact with each other, which means:
1) cooling of water in the hot water boiler/solar heater, etc.
2) equalization of pressures between the cold network (6 bar) and the hot water boiler network (2-3 bar), which will eventually lead to malfunction of the lower pressure network because it will operate at higher pressure.
The immediate solution is to always keep the battery in either completely hot or completely cold position, which is quite restrictive. The ideal solution is to install check valves in each supply, so that water can only flow in one direction.

Εάν η βρύση σας είναι χαμηλή λάβετε υπόψιν ότι με τον μηχανισμό θα γίνει ακόμα χαμηλότερη και ίσως τα χέρια έρχονται πολύ κοντά στον πάτο του νηπτήρα όταν τα πλένετε. Επίσης εάν το κάτω αισθητήριο βραχεί και παραμείνει σταγόνα πάνω του, η βρύση μπορεί να ανοιγοκλείνει μόνη της μέχρι να το καθαρίσετε.
Το σοβαρό μειονέκτημα και περιορισμός, είναι ότι υπό προϋποθέσεις, μπορεί να προκαλέσει πρόλημα στα υδραυλικά εάν λειτουργείς την βρύση σε ενδιάμεση αναμεικτική λειτουργία ( δηλ. μισό ζεστό, μισό κρύο), καθώς η βρύση παραμένει πάντα ανοιχτή και τα δίκτυα ζεστό-κρύο είναι σε συνεχή επαφή μεταξύ τους πράγμα που σημαίνει:
1) κρύωμα νερού στο boiler ζεστού νερού/ ηλιακό κτλ.
2) εξίσωση των πιέσεων δικτύου κρύου (ΕΥΔΑΠ 6bar) με δίκτυο ζεστού boiler (2-3 bar), που μακροχρόνια θα οδηγήσει σε αστοχία του δικτύου χαμηλότερης πίεσης γιατί θα λειτουργεί σε υψηλότερη πίεση.
Η άμεση λύση είναι η μπαταρία να βρίσκεται πάντα στη θέση εντελώς κρύο ή εντελώς ζεστό, πράγμα που σε είναι αρκετά περιοριστικό. Η ιδανική λύση είναι να τοποθετηθούν αντεπίστροφα σε κάθε παροχή, ώστε το νερό να μπορεί να κινηθεί μόνο προς την μία κατεύθυνση.

I admit I was skeptical about the quality due to the low price, but it is the best product I have purchased in the last few months, I highly recommend it. Initially, I put it in the kitchen, but now I have also installed it in the rest of the house's faucets. Ομολογω ημουν επιφυλακτικός για την ποιοτητα του λογω της χαμηλης τιμης αλλά ειναι το καλυτερο προιον που έχω αγοράσει τους τελευταίους μηνες, το συνιστω ανεπιφυλακτα. Αρχικά το έβαλα στην κουζίνα αλλά πλέον το έχω βάλει και στις υπολοιπες βρύσες του σπιτιου. Πρεπει να το συνηθίσεις λιγο στην αρχή αλλά μετα απο λιγο σκεφτεσαι πως λειτουργουσες τοσο καιρό χωρίς τέτοιον αυτοματισμο :-)

Το σοβαρό μειονέκτημα και περιορισμός, είναι ότι υπό προϋποθέσεις, μπορεί να προκαλέσει πρόλημα στα υδραυλικά εάν λειτουργείς την βρύση σε ενδιάμεση αναμεικτική λειτουργία ( δηλ. μισό ζεστό, μισό κρύο), καθώς η βρύση παραμένει πάντα ανοιχτή και τα δίκτυα ζεστό-κρύο είναι σε συνεχή επαφή μεταξύ τους πράγμα που σημαίνει:
1) κρύωμα νερού στο boiler ζεστού νερού/ ηλιακό κτλ.
2) εξίσωση των πιέσεων δικτύου κρύου (ΕΥΔΑΠ 6bar) με δίκτυο ζεστού boiler (2-3 bar), που μακροχρόνια θα οδηγήσει σε αστοχία του δικτύου χαμηλότερης πίεσης γιατί θα λειτουργεί σε υψηλότερη πίεση.
Η άμεση λύση είναι η μπαταρία να βρίσκεται πάντα στη θέση εντελώς κρύο ή εντελώς ζεστό, πράγμα που σε είναι αρκετά περιοριστικό. Η ιδανική λύση είναι να τοποθετηθούν αντεπίστροφα σε κάθε παροχή, ώστε το νερό να μπορεί να κινηθεί μόνο προς την μία κατεύθυνση.

I admit I was skeptical about the quality due to the low price, but it is the best product I have purchased in the last few months, I highly recommend it. Initially, I put it in the kitchen, but now I have also installed it in the rest of the house's faucets. Ομολογω ημουν επιφυλακτικός για την ποιοτητα του λογω της χαμηλης τιμης αλλά ειναι το καλυτερο προιον που έχω αγοράσει τους τελευταίους μηνες, το συνιστω ανεπιφυλακτα. Αρχικά το έβαλα στην κουζίνα αλλά πλέον το έχω βάλει και στις υπολοιπες βρύσες του σπιτιου. Πρεπει να το συνηθίσεις λιγο στην αρχή αλλά μετα απο λιγο σκεφτεσαι πως λειτουργουσες τοσο καιρό χωρίς τέτοιον αυτοματισμο :-)

Όσο και να το σφίγγω δυστυχώς μου κάνει μια μικρή διαρροή στην βρύση επειδή είναι μόνιμα ανοιχτό από την πίεση λογικά, επίσης διάβασα και από άλλους ότι δεν πρέπει να την έχεις στην μέση κρύο ζεστό εκτός αν έχεις αντεπιστροφα στο σύστημα,εγω την έβγαλα από την βρύση μου.

Βολεύει αρκετά, προσωπικά την έχω βάλει στην βρύση του μπάνιου. Την έχω ένα χρόνο και ακόμα δεν την έχω φορτίσει. Ο αισθητήρας πράγματι από κάτω δεν έχει μεγάλη εμβέλεια και πρέπει να κολλάς σχεδόν τα χέρια σου στην βρύση για να λειτουργήσει. Άπαξ και μάθεις την απόσταση μετά το κάνεις ψιλομηχανικά. Απλά όποιος έρχεται για επίσκεψη και δεν ξέρει δεν καταλαβαίνει πως λειτουργεί ο αισθητήρας και που πρέπει να βάλει τα χέρια του και γίνεται λίγο δύσκολο.
