I bought it for calibrating/setting up an equatorial platform for a Dobsonian telescope, which, apart from the compass, also needs a level and an inclinometer. The level (the bubble) sits unevenly—it is glued crookedly in its recess and is tilted (maybe the glue underneath only went to one side), so it is useless as it is now, and no matter how much I tried to detach it (even with a screwdriver!) to straighten it, it won't come off at all. The inclinometer also came off, but I easily fixed that with a bit of instant glue. Otherwise, it seems to be a sturdy construction, but when you choose the most expensive compass in the category on Skroutz and two out of its three functions are defective, you just have to accept your loss. I hope it was just bad luck.
