Replaced my old Pioneer, which was terrible in terms of build quality, I am very satisfied with the Demon, very good sound especially in Dolby Atmos

Do you want an amplifier that embraces music and movies? If yes, then confidently buy this product as all the issues it had have been overcome and it is flawless in everything.

Flawless machine. Multichannel expandable amplifier with absolutely satisfactory power and 8K ready, but at the same time a full AVR preamplifier for use with external amplifiers, two in one, at a very reasonable cost for what it offers. Always with the quality and guarantee of Denon.

With the HDMI switching and gaming issues now fixed (HDMI 2.1 features fix), one cannot have many complaints about the 4700H. The 9.1 channel amplification is capable of driving even speakers that fall below 4Ω quite well, with the addition of a 2-channel or more final amplifier, you can set up 11 channels (Atmos 7.x.4) and have a good SnR & THD. The two subwoofer outputs are independent and not parallel, allowing for proper time alignment of the subs (2 or even 4 if you use RCA splitters) [here it would ideally be better to use a miniDSP 2x4/2x4HD in between].
It supports all modern audio formats (Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro 3D, IMAX Enhanced DTS:X). With Ratbudyssey, one can now do good EQ bypassing the mistakes that Audyssey makes in... automatic pilot.
For the money it asks for, it will be difficult to find something better, either in terms of sound (always speaking about a home cinema amplifier, AVR, not a 2-channel music integrated amplifier) or in terms of capabilities and functions.

If you do not intend to get a separate amplifier or amplifiers, combine it with suitable speakers that are relatively easy to drive and also match your space, of course.
Klipsch, Polk Audio, SVS, Dali (these are less sensitive than the previous ones) are a perfect match.

Whoever doesn't want to see 4K is good! It has issues with its HDMI, the so-called SHAKEHANDS. It switches from 60Hz to 24Hz and from 24Hz to 60Hz, picture is terrible! You have to completely turn off and on the amplifier for the picture to come back! For Denon and the money it costs... it doesn't deliver! Maybe they will fix it with an update, but so far, nothing as of 7/03/2021! Take care, everyone! Jujus to all! 12/5/2021, a small update to the review, hmm. A firmware update seems to have fixed the situation!!! It's been almost a month and a half and it hasn't had any issues!! Let's express our frustrations, okay... but let's also mention the good things! Take care, everyone!
