Guys, in order to find center in a chuck with 4 jaws, you need experience and the right tool as well! If you are amateurs and just bought it because you got excited, it's logical that you won't get the job done! As for me, I bought it and found centers just fine and tightened them correctly! Also, for its price, it's quite a satisfactory chuck! Additionally, if you have a caliper, you can adjust it with almost pinpoint accuracy where you desire. I use a Mitutoyo instrument and I can say that I achieve desired results every time!

The jaws have a lot of play, resulting in not being able to tighten an object at the desired point. Quality equal to its price.
