Description

Description

The Crystal-g technology is a professional thixotropic cement-based adhesive for bonding glass blocks. It consists of selected aggregates of consistent granulometry, high-strength white cement, and is reinforced with special polymer additives and resins that prevent cracks and mold formation in the joints. 

High strength with IPS IMPACT PROTECTION SYSTEM and ECOFLEX. The use of special high-strength binding cements in combination with the high-tech acrylic additives and resins of Crystal-g offer perfect adhesion and very high final strength on all standard cementitious surfaces of constructions. Crystal-g is tested under the most extreme mechanical stresses by applying the exclusive ECOFLEX® testing method for optimal resistance to moisture and extreme environmental changes.


Instructions for use

  • Apply the mixture with a trowel onto the surfaces and build normally. If the bonding surfaces of the structural elements are dusty, it is recommended to wash them with clean water. If we use plastic guides, we place them and apply the material to the walls of the glass block with a trowel. 
  • The adhesive dries in approximately 15-20 minutes and has the property of 'standing' so that it is possible to leave large joints up to 2-3 cm.
  • When the adhesive dries well, after 20-30 minutes, we break the protrusions of the guides and use the same material to grout, smoothing it with our finger or with a special small spatula. 
  • The open time in adverse weather conditions (sun, high temperatures, dry air, etc.) or on very absorbent surfaces can be reduced to even a few minutes.
