Are there, perhaps, recipes for raising smart and emotionally resilient children? It all comes down to intelligence. The way we choose to live affects how we develop our intellect. Any experience we go through makes us smarter because it offers us a new perspective we hadn't considered before.

Each of us develops our intelligence at our own unique pace based on different mental and emotional priorities. However, we all share one common catalyst: emotional security and inspiration from our environment and the people around us.

This book aims to inspire parents and educators to create a healthy and fertile environment for children to express their best possible cognitive, emotional, and mental capabilities, starting from infancy, and to "bloom" freely.

Eleni Garyfalaki has been creating learning experiences for students of all ages for the past 20 years, having undertaken undergraduate and postgraduate studies in education. For the last 7 years, she has been designing and coordinating Multiple Intelligence and Educational Robotics activities in her own space, Kalo Agogo, in Heraklion, Crete.

The establishment of Kalo Agogo in 2013, the first multiple intelligence space in Greece, coincided with the publication of her first book on Multiple Intelligence. In 2015, she developed her own pedagogical theory, the Spin theory, which applies the combination of emotional, social, and multiple intelligences in educational practice and was presented at TEDx Heraklion.

The book Smart Babies is a creative blending of the Spin theory and the Positive Parenting seminars that have been held for the past 8 years at Kalo Agogo.
