The second pair I bought after the first one lasted and I loved it for several years as a slipper for inside the house. It is the "perfectly comfortable" slipper/sandal and I highly recommend it.
Starting with the "negatives":
- It is bulky and the "hospital-like" appearance may be a bit off-putting at home. It is definitely not for everyone's taste, but considering its construction, I didn't even think about it.
- Choose a color other than white because even with exemplary cleaning (brush and CIF), the material is porous and after a while, the dirt doesn't come off easily.
- Underneath the sole inside the slipper, there is a small black plastic mat (photo) that is connected to a larger piece underneath the sole with a sort of tube. This theoretically acts as a "massage" and anti-slip feature, but after prolonged use, the connection breaks and without it, the slipper cannot be worn. I tried to glue it, it sticks, but the continuous pressure causes it to come off.
- The heel strap is not ergonomic, it is difficult to put on and take off every time, and it can be tiring. Personally, I removed it on the second day.
The positives:
- The most comfortable and lightweight despite its bulkiness. This bulkiness (it raises you maybe 5 points) functions as a huge shock absorber and it is the most relaxing thing there is. And I have maybe a dozen slippers that I bought until I ended up with this one as the best for comfortable walking.
- The material breathes and never caused any bad odor. It can be cleaned (not in the washing machine) with a brush/sponge and a product like CIF with chlorine for "biological" cleaning.
- Compared to other types of crocs, the sole is anti-slip and I have never slipped on wet marble in areas where I almost got injured with other shoes.
I RECOMMEND getting at least one size larger. The 45-46 size worked well for me even though I wear a 43 1/2. The extra air is not bothersome at all because the slipper/sandal hugs the foot very well, and whether with thick socks or bare feet, they go in and out much more easily.
Το δεύτερο ζευγάρι που αγοράζω αφού το πρώτο μου κράτησε και το λάτρεψα για αρκετά χρόνια ως παντόφλα για μέσα στο σπίτι. Είναι Η! "ιδανικά άνετη" παντόφλα/σαμπό και τη συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.
Ξεκινώ από τα "αρνητικά"
- Είναι ογκώδες και ξενίζει λίγο η "νοσοκομειακή" του εμφάνιση στο σπίτι. Σίγουρα δεν είναι για όλα τα γούστα αλλά μπροστά σε αυτά που δίνει ως κατασκευή ούτε που το σκέφτηκα.
- Προτιμήστε άλλο χρώμα εκτός από το λευκό γιατί ακόμα και με υποδειγματικό καθάρισμα (βουρτσάκι και CIF) το υλικό είναι πορώδες και μετά από καιρό η βρωμιά δε φέυγει με τίποτα.
- Κάτω από το πέλμα μέσα στην παντόφλα έχει ένα μαύρο μικρό πλαστικό τάπητα (φώτο) που ενώνεται με ένα μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι κάτω στη σόλα με ένα ας πούμε σωληνάκι. Αυτό θεωρητικά δρα ως "μασάζ" και αντιολισθητικό αλλά μετά από αρκετή χρήση η ένωση κόβεται και χωρίς αυτό η παντόφλα δε μπορεί να φορεθεί. Προσπάθησα να το κολλήσω, κολλάει αλλά οι συνεχώμενες πιέσεις το ξεκολλάνε.
- Το λουρί πτέρνας δεν είναι εργονομικό, δύσκολα το βάζεις βγάζεις κάθε φορά και πολλές φορές την ημέρα και κουράζει. Προσωπικά το αφαίρεσα στη δεύτερη με το καλημέρα.
Τα ΘΕΤΙΚΑ
- Ότι πιο άνετο και ανάλαφρο παρά τον όγκο του. Αυτός ο όγκος (σε ψηλώνει ίσως και 5 πόντους) λειτουργεί σαν ένα τεράστιο αποσβεστήρα κραδασμών και είναι ό,τι πιο ξεκούραστο υπάρχει. Και έχω ίσως μια ντουζίνα παντόφλες που αγόραζα μέχρι να καταλήξω σε αυτήν ως την καλύτερη για ξεκούραστο/άνετο περπάτημα.
- Το υλικό αναπνέει και δεν μου εμφάνισε ποτέ κακοσμία. Μπορεί να καθαριστεί (όχι πλυντήριο) με ένα βουρτσάκι/σφουγγαράκι και ένα πχ CIF με χλώριο για "βιολογικό" καθαρισμό.
- Σε σύγκριση με άλλα τύπου crocs η σόλα είναι αντιολισθητική και ποτέ δε γλίστρησα σε πχ βρεγμένο μάρμαρο σε σημεία που με άλλα πήγα να πάθω ζημιά.
ΣΥΣΤΗΝΩ να πάρετε ένα μέγεθος τουλάχιστον μεγαλύτερο. Εμένα με βόλεψε πολύ το 45-46 ενώ φοράω 43 1/2. Αυτός ο παραπάνω αέρας δεν είναι καθόλου ενοχλητικός γιατί η παντόφλα/σαμπό αγκαλιάζει πάρα πολύ καλά το πόδι και είτε με χονδρές κάλτσες ή γυμνά τα πόδια μπαίνουν και βγαίνουν πολύ πιο εύκολα.
