Bison 66528 gasket sealant is a red silicone sealant for joints, seams and cracks in areas exposed to high temperatures. It bonds glass, enamel, tiles, glazed ceramics and smooth metals, and is also used to seal ovens and microwave ovens, ceramic hobs, heating ducts, chimneys and fireplace heat shields.
Once fully cured, it withstands temperatures up to 250 °C, and temporarily up to 300 °C for approximately 1 hour. It remains permanently elastic and is resistant to water and chemicals. Contact with grease, oil, coolant or fuel may cause it to swell.
