Bison Silicone High Temp gasket sealant is a silicone sealant for assembling and sealing joints, seams and cracks exposed to high temperatures. Once fully cured, it withstands temperatures of up to 260°C continuously and up to 300°C temporarily for approximately 1 hour. It adheres to glass, enamel, tiles, glazed ceramics and smooth metals.
It is suitable for oven and microwave door seals, around ceramic cooktops, in heating ducts and chimneys, and for fireplace heat shields. It is easy to apply and cannot be painted. It may swell on contact with grease, oil, coolant or fuel, and is not suitable for direct contact with petrol, diesel or aviation fuel.
