Great motherboard but some small issues at the beginning

When i first got this motherboard, i got it with a radeon rx 6600 and when i installed it, booted into windows it seemed fine, but the next day i was getting no display, when i took it to the repair shop(i regret because they charged me 40 euro and i think if i just reset the bios from the cmos battery), the technician said that the gpu and the motherboard just wouldn't work together but with another gpu and motherboard my gpu and motherboard work fine, all he did was update the bios, change the cmos battery(which he said was hard to remove) and changed a setting from the bios, i have 1 more unresolved issue which is, i cant boot into bios, only way i can is from a cold start, should i flash the bios?

I have had this motherboard for 3-4 months and the ethernet port just stopped working. I tried everything (bios, drivers) everything and nothing.

Everything is perfect but there may be a problem with SATA III SSD drives. Keep anything important on your drive(s) before installation in case there is an issue. If a problem occurs, do a BIOS update and then Secure Erase through BIOS on the drive where you will install the software.

It has been about 1.5 years since I got it. It has worked with 3600, 5600, 5700x, 5700x3d without any issues (I have done a BIOS update to the latest non-beta versions during this time). A few days ago, I added a second NVMe and I have no problems at all. Those who have issues with the recognition of the second NVMe should do a BIOS update. The 4 G.Skill Aegis memory sticks (16 GB each) run with XMP at their normal speed of 3200 MHz CL 16. On the plus side, it has the combo strike option in the BIOS for the 5700x3d, I set it to 3 and it has low temperatures and consumption. It also has many ports to connect fans, 6 SATA slots for drives, and quite good VRMs for its price. Practically, you can put any AM4 CPU you want on it.

Average motherboard for its price with some pieces having trouble recognizing the m.2 in the 2.1 slot. I put a Kingston A2000 in the 2.1 slot and it didn't show up anywhere in the bios, then I put it in the 2.2 slot and it was recognized. The company's after-sale service didn't really care. And their response was Sorry for the inconvenience caused you!

I installed a 5700x with a GPU 6700xt and 32 GB of RAM. I have no issues with temperatures and performance. It didn't work directly with the processor. After flashing and everything showing okay, the CPU light would turn on and it wouldn't function. After searching on the internet, I found out that the problem was with the RAM and not the CPU, even though the RAM is compatible. Attention! The warning LED was for the CPU, not the RAM. I put in an old RAM, opened it, did all the updates, and then put in the new RAM and everything was fine. This, along with the slightly increased cost, led me to give it 4 stars.

It is motheboard, idk what to expect from it but I can tell you for sure it good quality and everything works fine. I use it with rtx3060, r5 5600, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd. It needed BIOS update for the pc to open. It poped just a black screen and I was anxious untill I tried to update the BIOS and since then everything is fine.

Excellent product. Plenty of functions in the Bios, of course for those who know. It has very good cooling on the VRMs.

I paired it with the Ryzen 5 5600G and the GTX 1060. Initially, I struggled a lot because it didn't work out of the box with the processor or the graphics card. I had to spend a lot of time flashing the BIOS with different versions until I found the right one, which for me was 7C56vA7. Then, it didn't want to cooperate with the graphics card and I only had display from the integrated graphics. I had to update the graphics card firmware for it to work. This means that if I hadn't gotten a processor with integrated graphics, I would have had to go through an even bigger hassle. In the end, everything seems to be functioning properly. Generally, I would stay away from MSI motherboards after this, as it is unacceptable to have to go through all this trouble for a motherboard made for the Ryzen 5000 series.

Overall, the best motherboard you can get while keeping a budget of 100E. However, I encountered a problem with XMP while trying to synchronize it out of the box, but it was resolved after a BIOS update. I also had a little difficulty with the IO shield, but that was probably my fault for being inexperienced and hasty. The VRMs are the best I could find within the 100E price range, with sufficient ports and fans. Overall, I am fully satisfied.

Extremely good ATX card for its price. Mine came 5000 series ready and I paired it with the 5600X without needing to use bios flashback, although the option is there. Satisfactory audio, ports, and the CPU boost utility were useful so you don't have to mess around with OC too much. If you don't want RGB and other extras, I think you will be satisfied.

Very good motherboard in terms of connectivity and temperature. It has plenty of ports, but I give it 4 stars because I bought it together with Patriot memory modules that were supposed to be supported, but they weren't. I updated the BIOS to the latest version, but as soon as it started Windows, it would freeze. Removing one DIMM would make it work suddenly, but it would randomly shut down as if you pressed the power off button. I replaced the memory modules with others of the same speed and capacity from another PC, and it worked fine. The specific modules worked without any problems in the other PC

I bought this specific motherboard with the Ryzen 5 3600x and an rtx 2070 super (when prices were normal).
The motherboard is essentially the B550 TOMAHAWK, just with slightly lower vrms and without the rgb. Its ports are more than enough for the average user and its vrms are quite good for a B550 priced at 140€.
The only problem I encountered was with the MSI Dragon Center, which is really garbage and interacts poorly with the Logitech G Hub.

Excellent budget choice for 5600x. Okay, it's not gaming edge or tomahawk, but if you're looking for something value for money, you found it. At least at the €120 I got it for.

Plenty of ports, including 1x USB type C, 6 fan headers, and 1 for a pump. Satisfactory sound and satisfactory vrm cooling. One of the 2 m2 slots also has a heatsink. Compared to the b450 a pro, they also changed the color of the PCB to black from dark brown and added RGB headers.

Attention: the x570 a pro is not as good as the b550 version. Don't fall for it and say "oh well, it's roughly the same price, I'll get the x570."

+ 2 slots for M.2 drives, with one catch (see below)
+ Numerous fan connections (case, CPU, pumps)
+ 3x connections for 5v addressable RGB and 1x for 12v RGB LED
+ Something I personally appreciate, 3x internal USB connections

- A major positive is that it has a heatsink for the M.2 BUT! I combined an NVMe and an M.2 SATA drive. The motherboard requires you to install the M.2 SATA in the M.2_1 slot (the one with the heatsink), and unfortunately, I had to put my NVMe in the other slot which had nothing...

Overall, it is recommended. I installed a Ryzen 5 3600X with 2x 16GB DDR4@3600MHz*** and it immediately ran at 3,600MHz with the XMP profile without any issues.

Considering it also has the B550 Chip, you are ready for future upgrades to the Ryzen 5th generation!

I have been using the motherboard for about 4 months now. It has the Ryzen 3600 CPU and G-Skill F4-3200C16-GVKB RAM. Initially, it had some issues with sudden and random crashes, but after BIOS updates, it has become stable. Apart from the aforementioned problem that was eventually resolved, the motherboard is aesthetically pleasing with good configuration, plenty of fan connections, and quality VRM. Personally, I would have liked one more PCIe x1 slot.
