I initially bought one for testing, it could indeed have a slightly larger opening for the spices/herbs to fit more easily, but it has enough space inside. I didn't see any issues with turning it or the interior getting stained (I have put turmeric, paprika, and spice blends that generally leave some color, but it hasn't stained the container at all). I also bought labels and have everything well-maintained and organized. The only negative thing I could say is that although it comes with two different covers (shakers) depending on whether you want larger or smaller holes, they are made of thin material and some of them broke when screwing them on, but it doesn't bother me because I can replace them with others or not use them at all. I bought it a second time.
