The Berling Acrylic Sealant PU Hybrid elastomeric waterproofing membrane forms a continuous, seamless film for waterproofing rooftops. Its water-based formula contains acrylic and polyurethane resins, and the film follows the surface as it contracts and expands. With 82% solar reflectance, it is a cool material that helps improve the building’s thermal comfort.
It can be applied to concrete, cement screeds and roof tiles, as well as to joints and wooden, metal or cement-based surfaces after suitable preparation. It has high resistance to standing water, but is not suitable for prolonged immersion. It contains additives that prevent microorganisms from growing on the film. Apply with a brush or roller in two coats, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next. When reinforcement is used, apply one additional coat.
