For its price, I was definitely not satisfied. My dog's stools were in worse condition (darker and softer) than with other cheaper foods.

We switched from Belcando Finest Croc to reduce the protein and fat due to the heat (Finest Croc: protein 29% fat 20%, Adult Dinner: protein 23% fat 10.5%).
At first, the kibbles seemed too big for a 14-kilogram dog, but it turned out to be good because she chews her food more than before. I probably wouldn't recommend it for a smaller dog.
The only negative thing is that the 4-kilogram bag doesn't have a zip-lock, so we have to transfer it to a box.

I have been using Belcanto pet food for my two Jack Russel puppies for 10 years now. My vet recommended them to me and I am completely satisfied with them. The dogs eat them with great appetite, their stools are fine, and their coat is also in good condition.

I will say that with my dog (10 years old) I have changed many foods. Her appetite was always the same, she devoured them as if there was no tomorrow. Here, for the first time, I saw her leaving food for the next day. I can't believe it. Something is probably not right with this food. Also, its stools smell very strong. I would give it 1 star, but I'm giving it 2 in the unlikely event (after so many changes) that the issue lies with my dog and not the food.

After several tests with various foods due to intestinal sensitivity, including other Belcando products, this one had the best absorption with perfect bowel movements and a particular preference for taste.

The croquette, although it claims to be for medium to large dogs, is too big. My 15kg dog can eat it, but compared to the same brand's medium-sized croquette, there is a significant difference.

I have been giving it to my medium-sized spaniel/gecko dog for the past few months and so far I have formed a very positive opinion! The packaging closes with a zipper and is of very good quality, the kibbles are large in size so the dog chews them and doesn't swallow them, there is no unpleasant smell when I open the bag to take out the food and the dog's feces do not have a strong odor and are of a 3 to 4 out of 5 consistency. Very important for me, my spoiled little dog used to be accustomed to canned or cooked food as a topping, but now she eats the kibbles plain!!

I have been using this specific food for my amstaff for quite some time and I think it is the best value for money.
- Good size kibbles
- Good stool composition
- The coat is quite good, a little bit harder compared to others I have tried that cost 80-90 euros.
- Good protein content.
I mainly use it for maintenance months, although I believe it can also handle periods of intense physical activity.

After a lot of searching, I ended up with this food. Apart from its ingredients, quality, and country of origin (Germany), another important element that I was looking for is to have a thick kibble for my dog to chew on and not swallow. (I have a Cane Corso with Dogo Argentino).
Nice packaging also with an airtight zip closure!
So, as soon as I received it, full of joy and excitement for the food, I put it in front of my dog and he never touched it!!.. hahaha Almost the only food he didn't eat in the 2-3 years I have had him! (Maybe my dog is just being picky and it's not the food's fault. :)
