it has taken a real beating for 4 years + a cat stepping on it and it still works fine except for 3-4 keys that are barely hanging on (5, shift, 2)

I bought this particular keyboard in 2022. The lighting is impressive, there is an app for how to customize your keyboard, and the keys sound nice to the ear. However, after about 3 years of use, it started to show problems. Some keys would stick when I tried to type or when I was playing, and in some cases the command would be delayed or not registered at all. Finally, the final blow was when the spacebar stopped working, which essentially makes the keyboard useless.

Appearance-wise, it rocks! Nice colors and very nice design!
Quality seems very good! Very sturdy construction, heavy keyboard! It doesn't move from where you leave it!
In typing, the sound is decent for a mechanical keyboard! You can hear the typing but it's not annoying! :D
The volume adjustment wheel is very convenient, as well as the other buttons for when playing music!
The keyboard management program is very light, with many functions and options!
I don't regret it and I think I should have bought it earlier!
But the price of 125+ it had was prohibitive!

I found it on sale for €85. I have had it for a year now. It's worth every last euro. It's not the best for typing text (although it's not bad either), but for gaming, which is its category, it's fantastic.

Beautiful and good keyboard. However, I have some practical issues with this 3-key. Where the lights are for the gaming mode/Caps Lock/Num lock, it is practically impossible to see if you have activated any of the three unless you stretch your neck like an ostrich (I am 1.84 meters tall, you can't call me short). Also, I bought wireless headphones because the cable from the headphones is so high that it goes underneath and the ctrl, caps lock, etc. keys cannot be pressed. With this money, I would have bought something more ergonomic, equally good and beautiful.

I bought it on sale in September 2022. Two weeks ago, the spacebar stopped working, so I sent it back and the service told me it can't be repaired and gave me a credit balance of 85€. Currently, it costs 135€. I don't know if it's worth buying or if the store decided it's more profitable to give me back 85€, replace the broken switch, and sell it as refurbished for a higher price. As a keyboard, it was perfect for gaming and work until it broke. And the scroll wheel was incredibly useful. If the store is right and it can't be repaired, it's probably not worth spending so much money. What a shame.

Having this specific keyboard for quite some time, I have to say that it is one of the best keyboards on the market, very durable, very convenient, and quite sturdy in terms of construction

I love it! I wanted to buy it for a long time and finally I have it in my hands. It is sturdy, with very good build quality, I would say. The keys have a smooth feel and the RGB reaches a very strong brightness level. I highly recommend it!!!

Seven better mechanical keyboards simply slightly higher price.

Beautiful keyboard, high quality, metallic base, quite heavy fabric cable.
It does collect a lot of dust and needs cleaning day by day if not every day.
I gave it 4 stars because the software of the Hyper X does not have an SDK, so it is not "interactive" with ingame events (e.g. keys flashing red or blue if you are wanted in GTA) and neither with other third-party software. The good thing is that you can create your own lighting profiles and save them in the keyboard's memory, so you can switch between them with a button press (top left). The other 2 buttons are to activate gaming mode and change brightness intensity.
Nice key feel.

It's unbeatable. It has everything someone would want in a keyboard:
1. The red switches are the most perfect, despite making a little noise. They offer excellent gaming and typing experience.
2. The volume wheel it has is essential. If you switch to a keyboard without a volume wheel afterwards, you'll be annoyed for life.
3. Sturdy, heavy, and durable.
4. Impeccable design.
5. It survived half a glass of water being spilled on it and didn't break! A more expensive Corsair couldn't handle the same incident a few years ago and ended up in the trash. The Hyper X, after a day in the sun to dry, came back to 100%.

Hidden little diamond. I've been looking for it for a while on sale. It's worth it, it also has an extra USB port, convenient.
Excellent lighting, the sound is normal for red, the keys are slightly sensitive, but once you get used to it, you don't mind.
I would buy it again!!
I also paired it with the HYPERX WRIST REST FULL SIZE HX-WR, it needs it.

tip: in order for the lighting profile switch key to work, you need to have NGenuity closed [after setting up your lighting]

First time I buy a mechanical keyboard. The construction is very high quality. The lighting is wonderful. The only negative in my opinion is that the keys are very sensitive and I sometimes press them, especially the space key, without realizing it. Maybe it's a matter of getting used to it. From what I see, mechanical keyboards are divided into three categories. And this one has the linear - red switches.

I dropped my desktop computer on top of the keyboard cables and they got cut. It stopped working. I tried to send it for repair, but they told me there are no spare parts, both from the store where I bought it and from hyperX whom I contacted. I fixed them myself and fortunately it works. From what I understood, if it gets damaged, you're on your own. So in cases where a key breaks, there won't be any spare parts.

Keyboard.....!!!!!!! I tried various ones, but the feel of the keys on the elite 2 is incredible, as well as the lighting.... Also, the volume wheel is very convenient!!!! It's worth every euro... Finally, the red switches are somewhat quiet but not completely... I highly recommend it

I have it since it was released and I only use it for gaming and yet it feels like new. The only thing I needed to do was to clean it, which is also very easy. I believe it is the best choice for a gaming keyboard, it cannot be compared to neither Razer nor Corsair, it is top.

Very good, solid construction quality and really makes very little noise, you can't hear it in the next room. I am very satisfied.

I am surprised that there are not many comments, so probably there is not much demand.
It is an incredible keyboard in every aspect. It is very sturdy and doesn't move at all. I really like the switches, although I don't know much about them. The media buttons are very convenient, as well as the brightness and color profile buttons. Although with the program you can do more.
As for the color, I have to say that it is excessively bright. It has 5 levels and I have it on level one or two. Overall, it has amazing lighting. The only thing left is whether it will last over time, but due to the company, I don't think it will be a problem. I highly recommend it and I consider it underrated.

Awesome lighting, the feeling when typing and the build quality are amazing. The only mediocre thing is the HyperX software, but it does its job.
